Since tiefling alternate heritages edit what skills they get a bonus to, could, say, a Daemon-spawn tiefling take an alternate racial trait such as Beguiling liar, that replaces the class skill bonuses? Likewise, can alternate heritage tieflings take alternate racial traits at all or are they only legal for the default tiefling? In particular I'd like to make a daemon-spawn tiefling with the beguiling liar and prehensile tail alternate racial traits, and would like to know if this would be legal to do?
Those are in fact legal combinations because the Alternate Heritage doesn't change the name of the skill trait by any means. You still have all the same racial traits as a regular tiefling, they just provide their bonuses to different skills and abilities.
