International Tabletop Day - Saturday April 5

Pathfinder Adventure Card Game General Discussion

I'm surprised this hasn't been mentioned yet. On the other hand, I had no idea this existed until I checked Facebook this morning!

My plans for Saturday: Having friends over to watch Gravity on the 70" HDTV. LOL. Oh well, another couple wants to come over as well, so maybe we'll throw some gaming in after the movie is done.

Really? Well, I did plan on getting some people together to play some PACG, so I guess subconsciously, I knew... Or maybe it was just a really lucky coincidence. This is actually my first time hearing about this, but now that I know, I will start throwing little get togethers every year, and just game for a long time.

FYI for Seattleites:
Members of the PACG design team will be at Barnes and Noble in Northgate on Friday evening, and then at Card Kingdom, the Top of the World in the Columbia Tower, Uncle's Games in Bellevue, and the AFK Tavern in Renton at various points on Saturday. Hope to see you folks around!

Why do I live in Chicago?

Because Chicago is awesome. I lived there for ten years.

I guess you do have a point there. Would still be a good time to be in Seattle this weekend...

I'll be doing a demo play-through of the PF ACG on Tabletop Day at our local FLGS - The Dark Side in Sarasota Florida.

There's a group of 5 of us that meet Thursday nights at the store to play and we've had a lot of people stop at our table to ask about the game. Or it may be because 3/5 of our players are female...

Agreed, I'm in the Chicago-land area as well. Going to a local game store to see what they have in store. We're playing PACG tonight.

What is your local store?

Just to chime in for Chicago as well.

Thanks for the heads up on the stores, guys. I ended up just having people over on Friday and Saturday and rolling new characters, and playing from Perils into Hook Mountain in that time. It was a great time. I will keep the other options in mind in the future, however.

Well, on Saturday my wife and I wound up taking advantage of Amazon's sale on some tabletop games (deal of the day) and got the Dominion Big Box set and Seven Wonders for nearly half off.

After watching Gravity with some friends (excellent movie!) on Blu-Ray, we played Lord of Waterdeep since one of our friends brought it along.

I just missed you guys at Card Kingdom! I was in the Thornwatch game when you guys were around...

Really cool for you guys to visit. I should have known about this and brought my PACG set :)

Sorry we missed you!

Regrettably no one from Paizo replied to my inquiries regarding PACG support (at least no one at the email they keep telling me to use) so I brought my own set to a grand opening of a store here in Las Vegas. Ran a few demos, went fairly well.

I did get a few players interested in buying the game. Would have been nice to have handouts to give out to the players who were interested for more information but I made do.
