Advice

SO, I have the opportunity to create and play in a gestalt game, starting at level 17.

its a pretty much anything is a go game. so I get to use the advanced Firearms. mythic is also in, tier3.

so, I am using the machine smith/Gunslinger combo. Machinesmith

and I have to similar, but totally different Ideas.

one is a pistolero, the other a musket master.

here is the feat progression for pistoleroFeats- Point Blank shot, Gunsmith,
3- Rapid Fire, Craft Wondrous Items
4-Snap Shot
5- Precise Shot
7- Clustered Shot
8-Improved Snapshot, Craft Magic Arms and Armor
9-Deadly Aim
11-Combat Reflexes
12-Many Shot
13- Signature deed- Deadeye
15-Improved Vital Srike, Craft Construct
16- rapid reload.
Trick feat- Vital Strike
Mythic Feats-Mythic Rapid shot, Mythic Vital strike, Mythic Combat reflexes

here is my idea for the musket master
1-PBS, rapid Reload
3-Deadly aim
4-Weapon Focus Rifle
5-Precise shot
7-Vital Strike
8- Snapshot
9-iron will
11-Improved Vital strike
12-Devastating Strike
13-um....
15-um....
16- Greater Vital Strike
(follow this up with vital strike mythic for x4 damage total)

thoughts? does the capacity of 6 with 40ft range (after distance) outdo the rifle? mechanically speaking, as fluff wise I like both extremely much.

really? nothing?

Mythic vital strike is all you need. Don't waste feats on rapid/many shot or cluster shot. If you go with vital strike then go musket
I don't know what the machine Smith class is.
If everyone is that powerful then expect a lot of saves. Might want a few more of the save feats. If human then look at the human specific feats.

I had thought about that, but I would still be doing much more DPR a round with a full attack

here is the 3rd party class- Machinesmith

as suggested by the GM.

I am allowed to combine specific magic items and custom items, so I could take the pistol of infinite sky and throw bonus enchants on top at x2 cost the normal enchant. (why I took combat reflexes... lol)
