Arista stands and looks at the others. "Can we really leave him here like this? What do you guys think?"

"Honestly, since we got rid of the bone devil, he's as safe here as anywhere else, and we don't have to worry about him betraying us while we rest either. We can decide what to do in the morning."
Sādhanā suggests seeking the others' opinions.
"What kind of experiment?" Cyna asks.
"Belial made me to be an infiltrator. A devil with no peer in the art of seduction and coersion. Yet, I was not allowed to evolve. I was simply forced into this form. I still remember things from my mortal life," the devil explains.

Putting a hand on Cyna's shoulder she looks back at the devil again, "What exactly did he do to you? Do you remember anything else?"

"As my soul was damned to the Nine Hells, an Infernal Duke brought me to Belial. I was told my mortal father met the same fate," the devil answers. "My soul was rent and twisted and torn, then put back together by the Lord of the Fourth's dark powers. I suppose I am more fortunate than my father...I still exist somewhat."

"I don't know, perhaps Vencious thought I still had some value."

"Secure enough for the moment," Sādhanā says checking her wounds. "I'll walk back with you while the others, deal with him."
"It's got to be around her somewhere, we'll finish searching after Arista does her buisness." Cyna says.
A look of relief crosses her features as she looks at Sadhana for a moment. "Was anyone else hurt?"

She nods, "Yes ma'am...we'll be back soon." As she walks with Sadhana she lays a hand on her arm as warmth radiates through her to Sadhana.

"That's perfect! Thanks" Sādhanā says as her flesh heals flawlessly. "I'll keep watch, you go ahead." she says as they get back to the freshly cleaned privy.
Thankful for her friends ability to clean even the grossest of places, she nods to Sadhana as she goes in. She goes as quickly as possible and comes out after washing her hands. She looks at Sadhana as they walk back to the others. "Sorry about all the breaks....I'm hoping things are better tomorrow and I won't be such a pain."

"No problem at all hon, it's part of the process." Sādhanā says with a warm smile. "Besides.....it might give me an idea what to....expect...or expect to see anyway. I.....I found out something....pretty amazing actually."
As the others questioned the caged devil, Drago thought more on what Tarja had said earlier. Perhaps she's right, maybe I should consider finding some extra protection. Walking up to the Gnome, the Scion asked, "Ylrhea, did you happen to see any armor on those racks?"
She looks at Sadhana a bit curious, "Really? What is it?"

"Hmm, that seems a little odd to me. Well, let's keep an eye out for some, shall we? I might need some before we get to the demon fighting."

"Well, remember when we went to meet the Anizari?" Sādhanā asks. "I found out about one final blessing Aroden gave to us. Apparently when an Anizari finds a mate and they wish to have children, they can go though a....change on a single day of the year. On the last night of the year, from the rising of the new moon until sunrise the next morning my body will....be able to get Clara pregnant."

Arista covers her mouth and squeals with girlish delight. "Oh my gosh....oh my gosh! That's soooo freakinn awesome!" She grabs Sadhana in a tight hug and starts jumping up and down before she remembers her state and composes herself. "Well, then that's all the more reason to try and get back home as soon as possible. I'm so happy for you both. Lets get back to the others and finish looking around so we can rest. Maybe tomorrow will be better, and I won't have to stop and pee every five minutes, or worry about peeing on myself or someone else." She laughs slightly as she wraps an arm around her friend. Her usual hundred watt smile is more like a thousand watts as she can't stop grinning.

Sādhanā beams, caught up in Arista's enthusiasm and the joy of finally sharing her news. "Yeah, I was already wanting to get back to her really badly. Let's get this all taken care of!"
She smiles, "I feel the same way."

Sienna looks around the chamber as Sādhanā, Cyna and Arista return.
Sienna spots the other door, hidden behind the cage the devil is kept in.
Arista comes back with a grin on her face that she can't seem to get rid of and looks at the others, "So...did we find anything else, or are we done here?"
"Just a door," Sienna answers. "But we can leave that for morning."

Still smiling, "Well...okay then....should we head back to the other area and set up for the night?"

You make your way back to the barracks in the other tower. Before long, the sun has set. Eating some of the well-preserved food Jericho made for you, you begin to relax and the eight beds in the room are quite comfortable.

As they finish their meal and start to relax, Arista asks the others about who wants to take what watches.

"I'll do third," the gnome says, with a yawn.

"Okay, I can take third with Rhea and Drago, Tarja, and Sadhana can take second." With the watches being settled, Arista goes to use the privy once more, washes her hands and finds a quiet place to pray silently to her Goddess. In her prayer she asks for the safety of those on their way to Valwick, the continued safety of her companions, herself, and her unborn child. She asks for courage to deal with what they'll be facing as well as wisdom. Once she finishes her prayers, she kisses the Holy Symbol and holds it close to her heart as she thinks of Alethiro and much she loves him and their baby.

As Drago stayed up with Sādhanā, he pulled his non-mystic blade and looked at it in his hands. "Tell me, is that how you feel when battle is joined? That rush of magic and strength of arms is so...exhilarating. I'm not sure how to describe it."
As the others drift off to sleep, Sienna looks to Cyna. "I guess we better lock doors and get that shard from what's left of the golem."
