Hi folks,
This is Eric Hindley. Some of you may know me from RPG Superstar, Kobold Press contests or the recent Ultimate Psionics from Dreamscarred Press. I have also done work with Raging Swan Press and LPJ Design. I'm here to announce my newest endeavour, a product line with Fat Goblin Games that focusses on psionics called Mindblast!
The first product in the line is Classic Monsters Augmented. If you love Psionics, or if you just want variant monsters for your game, you should definitely check this out. Rick Hershey has done great work laying out this book. It has all you need to introduce Psionic monsters to your game.
Soon to follow will be products that focus on providing details for Psionic classes (generally a few statted NPCs a la NPC codex) and some player options. First up is psychic warriors. Let me know what you would like to see from this line, which I call Class Focus.
I'm open to ideas about people want to see for Psionics, just let me know right here! Thanks!

I just picked up that book yesterday :) The artwork and layout is very nice, but it's sure to murder my ink cartridge- not that that's a bad thing. As stunning as the graphics are, it is still quite easy to read- nice job on that one! And I especially like that information is given to be able to use/build Reds as a race, instead of them just being 'monsters'- I was relieved when I got into it and saw those racial options present!
I believe someone else was asking (in this forum) for some re-workings of certain races from the Bestiaries with obvious psionic SLA's into true Psionic Races- maybe that could be something to look at down the pike!

This book was originally going to be a book converting ssome of the spellcasting races to psionic versions, but I sort of got carried away with trying to make things a little more interesting...
If there are specific monsters people would like to see get the psionic treatment, I'm all ears! I know some of them will be in the Psionic Bestiary from Dreamscarred Press, but it never hurts to have alterante versions, in my opinion.

1 person marked this as a favorite. |
I am very interested in anything Psionic, pre-gens included. I will be watching for these products with anticipation.
I second this.
regarding 'dupes' or alternates to the Psionic Bestiary: I prefer to have as little of that as possible, since it can be a tad confusing at times. Someone mentioned the Lashunta race from Inner Sea Bestiary, iirc. And Psionic demons or devils would be... just plain nasty :)

So, after a hiatus, Mindblast! is back! Check out these cheap Psionic monsters and villains, released in bite sized chunks!
Up first, a villainous aboleth and his followers.
And a variant achaierai.
The goal is to get these Psionic monsters to release regularly, roughly one a week. Keep your eyes peeled!
