I was looking through the "Undead Anatomy" line of spells recently, and happened to notice several seemingly inconsistent things that left me baffled. The Undead Anatomy 2 spell provides the options

The Undead Anatomy 3 spell offers

As you can see, 2 offers several options that 3 does not, including Blood Drain, Freeze, Mimicry, Pounce, Shadowless, and Sound Mimicry. My first instinct was to think, "Ah, Undead anatomy 3 must include all the options available in 2 as well, and it only lists upgrades or new abilities from 2." But then I noticed that there is also overlap, with both 2 and 3 offering low-light vision, scent, and trip.
Does anyone know the official ruling on how the upgraded form of this spell interacts with the lesser one? Or if not, how would you houserule it?
