Oh wow. I somehow didn't notice that the PFS FAQ specifically calls upon the AA. That's really hard to dance around, imo. Jerk or no jerk.

And if you cannot afford it, nor can your GM?

$9.99 might not sound like much, but, for some people, it can be the difference between having a home or not.

Also, and in a similar fashion, IIRC, there is an argument, based on a single item in the ARG, that you have to own the ARG in order to be able to deal with using a potion while underwater.

The FAQ specifically mentions it. I feel that my hands are tied because of this. If they hadn't specifically referenced that book, I would understand and it would be more like the potion sponge situation. But I don't know of any FAQs that specifically mention the ARG and potion sponges.

And... the FAQ specifically explains how to handle it if you don't own the book.

But I do own the book. That's the whole point. A GM who owns the books seems to be stuck enforcing this FAQ ruling.
