Season 5 reporting sheet generator

My irritation with drawing boxes on reporting sheets to represent reporting conditions finally resulted in an evening of coding, and yielded an online reporting sheet generator that's more in line with the requirements of Season 5.

Assuming that the backend hasn't brought my webserver down, it should be accessible with a very minimalistic interface at http://nl.ti4200.info/sessionsheet.php

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Event Code and name should be on every sub sheet. These sheets are often cut apart for multitable events.

I also suggest adding a spacious option to produce full page sign in sheets equivalent to the spacious sign in sheet in the GM prep folder.

Anouther thing I have found helpful is to actually have the critical information highlighted. (Scenario Name, character number, paizo number, faction, prestige earned, etc.) Basically, anything that if it is not there the event cannot be reported should be highlighted.

I would like to see a "character Died" checkbox. I occasionally get reporting sheets from TPKs where everyone died, everyone got 0 prestige, and now I have to chase people down and figure out which players got raised, and which ones to report as dead.

I agree with FLite.

Additionally, a "nice to have" would be to add the scenario names as a field (just make it scenario 1, scenario 2, scenario 3).

prefilling these will make reporting easier.

Keep it minimal - the word "Dead" is better than "Character Dead".

Also "Dead" is better than "Died" because there's less confusion over whether the latter means died and got raised or died and is staying dead. Little details like this matter.

It's all pretty much critical; the form is intended as "fill out everything wherever possible".

meh. I can live without character name. Just don't blame me if you wrote in the wrong number and I didn't check.

Given the date, and the fact that it is in my inbox at all, I can fill in the event code and event name. Our form asks for email as well, which is obviously optional.

When I just say "make sure the form is completely filled out" people miss stuff.

The following will make it physically impossible for me to report the game, and therefore the game will not get reported:

Date
Scenario
ABCD checkboxes. (well, okay, I can report it, but you wont get credit for some stuff)
Society Number
Character Number
Faction (sometimes I can fudge around this.)
Prestige
Character Dead.

By highlighting those, while leaving other fields unhighlighted, I focus people's attention, and have not had a single incomplete sheet since.

You only report a PC as dead if they are perma-dead (or otherwise removed from the campaign). For some reason, they don't track "died-but-raised", which would give a truer picture of scenario difficulty for the devs.

Right, which is why you don't want people ticking "Character Died". They're less likely to tick "Dead" than "Died".

Dead means "is dead", died can mean "did die" (but got raised). There can still be confusion, but the meaning is narrower and it should be a little more intuitive. When you're making a template, little things like that matter.

My sheets have check boxes for Raised and Died.
