Hiya, I am hoping someone with some know how can help out a new and mistake ridden GM. I just started a home game with Pathfinder Society and was looking for a good way to introduce my players to the Society. The threads recommended First Steps. I read through and signed up to run events for all three parts. As I was reporting I noticed the (retired). My players are a bit peeved that they cannot get the experience PP or loot associated with those three sessions. Two questions:
1) Is there any way to rectify the situation to the players?
2) Why are retired scenarios still on the list which can be selected to run?
Thank you,
Abashed and contrite.

Greetings!
First off: You can still get credit for the first module of First Steps. Only First Steps II and First Steps III are retired.
So that's something.
Also: Did you just sign up to run the events in the future or did you already run them? If you didn't: Just don't run them. It's a home game, you don't run one of the marked scenarios, no harm done.
If you already ran them you have to tell them to ignore the chronicle sheets for First Steps II and III and everything is back to normal. Apologize for the mistake and move on.

Nooooo! Someone else with my avatar!

Ask them to show some patience to a new GM, and appreciate the fun they had during those two gaming sessions?

Which list are we talking about here? They're not listed on the season 3 downloads page, nor on the event setup page with all the checkboxes. The only place I can find them is on the 'retired scenarios' page, and even then they have a warning about their retirement on the item page itself.
