PFS income & equipment spending

Generally speaking, can a Pathfinder predict his income per adventure by Tier?

For example, I've played a lot of Tier 1 stuff (and I'm a new player, btw), and it seems pretty predictable that 500 gp is the norm at that Tier.

I'm also new to the Pathfinder game itself, so I'm learning about how the enchantment process for equipment goes (armor, weapons), or at least I hope.

So for example, I have a fighter who has done 2 adventures, and made 1000 gp. I spent 350 (IIRC) on a masterwork weapon so that later I can enchant it, once I can both afford it (about 2000 more gp I think) and once I have enough prestige/fame to buy something that costs that much.

For his armor, i upgraded from Scale to Banded, and I think I put Masterwork into it (even though I will move to Plate Mail at some point, I figured I would eat the loss when I sell it later).

I've been at a number of tables where someone tells me that this or that piece of gear is essential (cloak of resistance +1, or magic weapon, or adamantium weapon, etc.,) and outside of KNOWING I need a magic weapon as soon as I can buy one, I don't know what else the fighter needs to save for.

I also have an Oracle of Flame that completed his first adventure tonight, and I don't know what to do for a gnome Oracle at all in terms of gear.

If you can provide any help or insight, I am thanking you in advance for the help.

Have a source of healing. Wands of Cure Light Wounds and Infernal Healing are more than worth the 2 PA they cost. For the fighter, make sure he gets a bow ASAP, even if his dex sucks. Ranged attacks can save the day.

Flame oracles can be a little trickier; look into getting a lesser metamagic rod of empower. 8k is a while a way, but it will certainly be useful. Also, buffs to your Charisma are helpful for bonus save DCs and spells per day. Finally, don't skimp on your AC; be in breastplate (or full plate if you can afford the feat/don't care about the non-proficiency penalty) and carry a heavy shield.

For both characters, remember that lots of small bonuses are better than a few big bonuses. +1 armor and shield are 2k, whereas +2 armor is 4k. Also, have an oil of daylight by level 3 or 4. At 2 PA it's an expensive consumable, but it can save your life in a pinch.

As far as predicting your income, you certainly can but don't be too expectant of what you'll make. All it takes is one scenario where you play down instead of in-tier to ruin your calculations, or where you need to pay for an expensive consumable/NPC spellcasting service.

This link may be of some help. (Especially if you scroll down to the pllacing Treasure Table: Character Wealth by Level)

PFS characters tend to earn +10-20% of that value (assuming they play in tier) which accounts for consumable use etc.

It will work to at least give you a ball park of how much money to expect to have at various levels.
