Towns of the Inner Sea: Vamros Harg question

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

Liberty's Edge

Spoiler:

On p.18 it is said, that Harg doesn't dare to oppose Kreed and that he would start doling out true justice, if he would get support from the citizens if Falcon's Hollow.

Does this match with his alignment of NE as stated on p.15?

Liberty's Edge

Alignment is descriptive, not prescriptive: Your Alignment is based on your past and current actions, not planned future ones. In the circumstances described, his Alignment likely wouldn't remain NE for long...but at the moment he's mostly a corrupt official interested in his own comfort, occasionally acting spitefully towards his boss in secret, which makes NE reasonable.

Kreed can be a pretty bad boss all around whatever your alignment, so working for Kreed can be awfully Harg on even a guy like Vamros.
