Shalelu Questions

I am a player in a current RotRL campaign. I recently took Leadership at lvl 9. My GM then said I could take Shalelu as a cohort. I am in the middle of converting her stats to a char sheet I can use. I have a couple questions about her stats and equipment.

I inserted her stats in the stat builder on the PRD website. I do not know if she was constructed using a 15 or 20 pt buy. Either way, she has unspent points or overspent on points. Even taking into account a stat boost at lvl 4.

She has a +1 composite longbow. How does this factor into her ATT and damage overall? I have never really played an archer before.

Our GM had already leveled her up to Fighter 2/Ranger 5. And he had her ATT listed as +12 +7. And 1D8 + 1 damage.

Is all of this correct? I tried looking for info on her stats but couldn't find any.

I have her as a cohort for my character in ROTRL.

With GM permission, I rewrote her as a 20pt fighter(lore warden) 2/Ranger X (basically, this ended up with her having an 18 dex.)

She's built as a 15 pt buy (I forget where I figured her att boost was... Con, I think) originally.

I won't be home for another 12 hours, but I could PM you an old character sheet sometime tonight/tomorrow if you're interested... I have them in PDF.

Note that I eventually gave her FE Giant, and, as one of the party crafters, ended up adding giant bane and adaptable to her bow and quickly made her an efficient quiver, although her spells do include the necessary abundant ammunition. Plus, I'm a support cleric. One of my domains is heroism...

(Averages 75 damage or so per round on a giant and she is now F2/R7).

Strategy note:
I play them as a battle couple (tm). He's generally screening her while she delivers the pain.

She's actually pretty crappy as far as ranged support characters go for pure damage :S.

If you can rebuild her at all I would certainly up her Strength a little, at least 14, 16 would be ideal, otherwise she definitely struggles to do reasonable damage.

Definitely like the idea of FE: Giant, but she could steal the limelight a little bit!

OK, I just looked at her stats again and, yeah, her lvl 4 bonus was in CON.

My GM made giants her 2nd favored enemy already.

I'm in the process of leveling her up to a Fighter2/Ranger6 right now.

Amusingly enough, I am a Life Oracle. As a wand crafter (our resident crafter is a dwarven wizard and he won't take wand crafting because that's, "Pansy elf crap".) I'm gonna create a wand of Gravity Bow for her.

I'd love to see a character sheet. And 75 damage per round??? I definitely need to see how you get that. I'm not doubting you. I would just like to see it.

My party includes a Mindchemist (who just got leadership and a bard cohort), a Fighter-food processor (called Procktor Silex, of course), a gunslinger, an elemental-summoning wizard and an arcane trickster.

My cleric is sub-standard in damage (crafting, support and face), so between him and Shalelu, he remains relevant in combat.

No limelight stealing here...

Doing the siege of Sandpoint. Her anti-giant capabilities were quite appreciated...especially with deadly aim, rapid shot and the greater heroism I tossed on her.
