But does it get your support? How do you feel about the rights of women to not be enslaved? Out of sight, out of mind? Or do you care enough about the future to sign on the dotted line?
I generally don't support policy positions that are guaranteed to singlehandedly destabilize the United States.

Plus I assume some would not want it.
Some, sure, some just hate America because they lost loved ones to them.
There are quite a few of my countrymen who freaking hate you guys. It's an irrational hate. We did lose people in the 1999's aggression.A guy loses a son, and he blames the first person he can. Or government.
Never said I condoned the hate. I find it very counterproductive to hate someone, let alone an entire nation.

How do you inform the foreign citizens of their citizenship? In places where woman can't read and the information they receive is filtered by the government and/or the society they live in?
And what rights does citizenship give them? The right to vote? Or are they like the citizens of Guam?
I like to think that will be up to women...so sign and find out.

So does this include the woman in terrorist organizations? And what about children? Or any disenfranchised class from all cultures? There are people suffering all over the planet for different reasons so maybe we should make them citizens as well? And even if this somehow passed, how would it help unless they came to this country to benefit from being a citizen? This is a joke petition that doesn't address the real issues and won't solve anything.

Wow, ran out of crazy so the stupidity gets recycled
On the contrary, this is a high priority. If it can get a hundred and fifty signatures it drops into the public space where it could easily pick up a hundred thousand signatures.
Think of your mum or your sister, or daughter, or wife. Would you want her enslaved by some backwater regime?

And my brother, cousin, newphew, etc? Their enslavement is meaningless?

I'll be blunt, while I do believe women deserve better treatment, the outcome of this petition would cause more harm than good.
If every woman in the world is given citizenship, then all their children will be citizens. skip a few generations from now, every person in the world is a citizen in the US. US citizenship would no longer be a national thing but a global one and the US government would have alot of issues in dealing with the massive amount of people on file.
On the other side citizenship doesn't mean instant help for all woman, there are many situations in the US where such relationships still happen, and do happen. Plus many of the laws made against such abuse only work on US soil.
It's not a legal problem as it is more of a cultural one, and only time and education can fix such problems.
