I don't have a problem with anything, I just wanted to reassure concerned posters that yes, sometimes parties do just fine. They're faffing about in the City of Brass, and having some fun with not speaking the language, a running gag of throwaway gag gnome NPCs, a baby ebony cube, and trying to impersonate a, and I quote: "much-feared league of spies and torturers."
The last one was not particularly well-thought-out, but fortunately the other PCs were able to stop the PC in question, and all is well.
Discuss lack of problems here.

I have the most lovely party as well. At some point during Reign of Winter they strapped skis onto the bottom of a mattress in order to make the Bed Sled. They mount the skulls of their enemies and their weapons upon said Bed Sled. We finished early Saturday on account of the party skipping half of book 2 by:
They are an unadulterated joy to DM for.

The party I'm in is having a lot of fun, too. We're halfway through a caravan trip across the Crown of the World (in Jade Regent). Our Paladin recently rescued a handful of goblin slaves, who he's trying to domesticate. This led to the recent Goblin Day festivities, with a talent show with mandatory participation -- the highlight being Goblin Swan Lake.
And then the Paladin's wife tried to kill party. Marrying evil NPCs turns out to be a bad choice.

We had an excellent time in our lest session, despite the fact that the Kensai and I both failed our spellcraft checks and then prodded an alarm cube.
Then we got ambushed and the Kensai and I spent most of the fight unconscious, but people were tripping over us. The party survived a non-trivial fight despite having had no time/place to rest since the end of the previous session and being two people short for most of the battle.
Our DM has a solid grasp on the concept that failing-at-heroism should be entertaining. We love him for it.
Old plot lines and new plot lines were woven together, there was reasonable loot, a good story, and much rejoicing.

Good to hear, good to hear.
A friend of mine has provided me with entertaining stories of her homebrew adventure, where her neurotic 8 Str & 8 Cha Abjurer had been chatting with the courtesans and walloping dire rats with his staff, due to dice favouring her over the others. She just recently got to reveal why he had been dragging around a big sack the whole time.
He just got to level 3, where he can Protect people From Arrows and cast the stat buff spells! Meanwhile, the scariest one in their group is the midwife and the merchant kobold and the big, humourless monk are working on their comedy duo act.

I haven't run my long running but poorly organized ongoing campaign in a while since we've been busy finishing off a Second Darkness game. Before that there was a new Gunslinger PC blowing away every monster in a single round with 400+ damage. She got eaten by sea serpents though, and I expect things will go back to normal now, whatever normal is at 16th level...
I guess the Second Darkness game is going OK other than the fact the DM thinks my AC is too high. My other group's Kingmaker game seems OK too though that DM also wishes I'd lower my AC and take a PC death once in a while. I guess it is kind of like, "Come on, all the other PCs die once in a while, why not yours too?" We have fun anyhow though, and the other PCs know that if they get killed mine can bring them back at a discount with Ultimate Mercy.
