Thanks for the support, Mike.
I'm Nick Greene. I'm a relative newcomer to PFS, only having started playing about a year ago. I've been working hard to grow the PFS community in Knoxville. We currently run games out of Level Up Games and Hobbies on Kingston Pike every Sunday, and most Saturdays now, with games starting up soon at Organized Play in the Old City. We utilize our facebook page for communication at Knoxville Pathfinder Lodge and coordinate our games using Warhorn.net. Please come on out and join us, and let me know if there's any games you want to see run. Additionally, please check out Marble City Comicon for our PFS schedule in April.

Thanks, everyone. I appreciate the support. We've still got a lot of work to do. I want a special to be run in Knoxville this year.
I had the pleasure of sitting down with you at a few tables at SCARAB this year and I must say it was really great meeting you. Definitely hope you can make another trip for ConCarolinas this year, or at least SCARAB next!
I doubt we'll make it to ConCarolinas this year, but we'll definitely be going to Play On Con in Birmingham. If you get a chance, that's a great con to go to. It's at a 4-H camp, of all places. Loved it last year. And we'll be at MACE West and Blood Under Athens for at least part of those cons. I'm sure we'll run into each other again.

I started running games mostly because I wanted a place to play after Mike Seales broke me in at Play On last year. Then, my wife and I started driving to Asheville a weekend a month to play with that crew. James Becker's group up there showed me how to schedule and report games, so I found us a place to play and started running games. One table the first day, two tables a week later, and it just grew from there. My GMs deserve all the credit for what we've got going on.

Congratulations Nick!
I have in-laws in the area (Jacksboro). My family and I are down that way at least every three months. I'll have to make it to Level Up next time we're down there.
FYI - If you'll be in Jacksboro, you will be required to bring a box of donuts from the Sugar Shack to the game. This is non-negotiable.

Ah, Sugar Shack! They have the best donuts. Alas, unless I am mistaken, they closed down a while back. If I remember correctly, the last few times we were there, going back to last summer, they were gone. A shame too, I always went there on a weekend morning to get some. :(

Oh, what a shame! That's what I was afraid of, but I haven't had an opportunity to visit and confirm that. I think I'm going to go cry into my pillow, now.

Goodbye Nick! You have been a great Venture Captain and grown the game tremendously, promoted the sale of Paizo products vigorously and your presence as VC will be missed now that you have resigned.
Indeed Nick is sorely missed. I came back from holiday hiatus (retail manager) to find a community that went from 5-6 tables at the main venue every week and 3 satellites running a couple tables each to what looks like trouble forming 2 tables at the main venue. Sad state of affairs. Good luck in your future endeavors Nick Green and Felix Adam.

Nick is missed, however, PFS play in Knoxville is regrouping and will soon be back as strong as ever :) Have no fear.
