Yes it is happening along with Comic Books from Top Cow from Next month and various other stuff.
There could be an Honorverse Explosion over the next couple of years.

Hmm. A rights development company are on board and they are trying to get a script off the ground, have managed to get a comic out and are planning a mobile game. No studio, reputable screenwriter or director are attached. They have had some success, getting the WALKING WITH DINOSAURS movie made, but otherwise they sound more than a little bit like Red Eagle Entertainment, who did a similar thing for WHEEL OF TIME and promptly failed to get anything made competently at all.
One thing that is eyebrow-raising is their suggestion that they are establishing what the ships look like for the movie via the game and comics. Whatever studio and director come on board will bring their own graphic designers with them as well, and they will decide those things. This is one of the reasons why a WH40K movie hasn't happened (yet), because Games Workshop don't want to change their existing designs one iota and Hollywood studios will only work on a project where they have free reign to change things if they want.
ETA: They're going to adapt the second book first, and will use BASILISK STATION for flashbacks later on.

Yeah...I am not convinced this will ever get off the ground, at least not as a major movie release.
I received no impression that the company is all that experienced in producing movies. Whats more a movie like this, if done as live action, would require a substanstial budget, which is going to require big studio involvement, or at least support from a prominent director or actor interested in it.
