Honored Fist of the Society / Drunken Master Ki bonus work?

I just turned level 2 on my monk and I was looking at level 3. Level 3 drunken master archetype monk get 1 point of drunken ki when they take a drink. I also have the Honored Fist of the Society trait. It doesn't really specify if the drunken ki bonuses proc the bonus from the Honored Fist trait. I'd just rather know before I get this guy to level 3.

Proc meaning Do I get a bonus ki if I have a drunken ki, since I have a ki pool with my drunken ki. I'm guessing no if drunken ki at level 3 is separate from your ki pool at level 4.

No, you don't get the ki point until level 4, because drunken ki doesn't give you a ki pool, just ki points (which are also handled seperate from regular ki), which is also stated expicitly in the description for drunken ki:

Honoured Fist of the Society only increases your ki pool.

What a strange word. I haven't played a monk in years so the reference went right over my head.

You would still increase your ki pool by 1 by taking the trait, it just won't happen until 4th level.

Sorry, I guess proc is video game slang rather than tabletop slang.

Proc in this case: If I use the drunken ki ability does it activate my Honored Fist ability. It does not. So it doesn't proc.
