Tracking sheet, What the?

Pathfinder Society

So, i just really got back into PFS and didnt get much time to play. So the GM askes me for a tracking sheet, and I have no idea what that is so im dumbfounded HE said I have to make a sheet of all purchases I have made, go back to to my chronicles and write down when I sold, when I bought and so forth.
So, for my lvl 7 barbarian, I have to try to remember when I used all the potions I baught? Or do I start when I get it?

You only have to track things post GenCon 2013. You do not have to go back past that point. It might help figure things out, but otherwise no.

If you do go back and list purchases, and you no longer have potions you bought, just put that you bought and used them the same sheet.

I don't have to list the stuff I buy at character creation, right? /moronic question

Ok, I have not baught a whole lost since GenCon. fall I stopped for school reasons :) So when a gm asks why my sheet is bear, i say I have not bought a whole lost since Gencon?

If I ask you why your sheet is a bear, the correct response is to join me in screaming and running away.

- For that authentic druid flavor

- Because I believe in cruelty free vellum
- The lion was in the shop
- Unicorns don't exist.
- Used all the naga hide on the jacket.

You should start an Inventory Tracking Sheet now to account for all equipment of over 25gp listed cost that the character currently owns.

I would, recording the chronicle number as - or 0.

Oh, okay. Thanks!

So I should record my ten masterwork sling bullets (60 gp.), and my tower shield (30 gp.), but my hide armor (15 gp.) and sling staff (20 gp.) wouldn't be necessary?

A lot of us record pretty much everything.

Personally, I record items over 1 gp, and group the rest into one entry (misc adventuring gear 12.2 gp). This makes my accounting easier.

I only put starting equipment on the sheet if I sell it at a later point (like selling armor and buying masterwork armor). In that case, I list the chronicle number as 0.

I don't tend to start an ITS, other than for consumables and PP purchases, until the PC hits second level, and can no longer use the 1st level retraining rules.

This is incorrect, you only have to track items purchased since the Guide 5.0 came out. That is, since GenCon 2013.

I'm certainly not going back and recording all items purchased over 25gp on my 17 characters that were in existence at that time, many of them level 7+. I did put wands and ammunition that I had at that time on there just to make future tracking easier. But it was explicitly stated by Mike Brock that we did not have to go back and record all purchases prior to GenCon, it only had to be tracked going forward. Those purchases should have already been recorded on your chronicle sheets anyway, as per the old method of doing it.

Yes, but if I made my character today, I would have to write down the stuff I bought during character creation. That's what Starglim was talking about.

EDIT: Or he was addressing the OP and I'm just really self-centered. Either way, look behind you!

Only the stuff costing 25+ gp.

Yup, got it. Thanks.
