Why did paizo stop at level 10 on Prestige Classes? Is there anyway for them to come out with a book with all the prestige classes in it and have them go to level 15. They can add level 11-15 in the new book and I know I'd buy one. I'm sure there would be a lot more people wanting to continue their characters past level 10 in their prestige class. With characters able to reach level 20 with modules it would really be great if those characters with prestige classes can go past level 10 in them if they can. This also would let us see a lot of cool new stuff for them from level 11-15 in their prestige class. Any possiblity of this being in the design anytime soon?

That's a question that only someone who has been with Paizo from the start can answer. ('Cause it's a question about "why did you do that?")

Flagging this for movement to ...oh... Pathfinder RPG General Discussion?

Most likely, because TSR/WotC used ten-level prestige classes when they created D&D 3rd Edition.

Doesn't it make sense to allow the prestige class to go past level 10 or for them to add to it since they allow or have given out modules that a character can use to reach level 20?

Did I post this in the wrong place? I thought this fell under Paizo Publishing General Discussion since we are talking about their publishing mechanics.

I'll go ask over where Belafon said then.

You did. It was originally posted in Pathfinder Society General Discussion. I took a stab at where it belonged (and was wrong) but the Paizo web gninja moved it to the right place. It is now in the right place.
