Cold Spell

Hello all. I am looking for a little help on finding 3rd level bard that has a cold descriptor and is Pathfinder Society legal. Thank you for the help.

Currently, I haven't found any Bard Spells that have a cold descriptor that are PFS legal. The only 3rd level arcane spells that I have found are "Ice Spears" and "Vengeful Comets" from the Inner Sea Magic and "Sleet Storm" from the Core book. All 3 are PFS legal. Unfortunately, I don't know of any feat that would add spells to your bard spell list that would make these available to your bard. Sorry.

I don't think there are any bard spells with the cold descriptor.
"People of the North" lists cold spells in the inside back cover, and it doesn't have a list for bard spells there.
You'd have to find a way to make a spell from another class available to your bard, then you could a cold spell for that purpose.

Ring of Spell Knowledge III or IV and a scroll of a cold arcane spell can give you access to it at +1 level (whether 2nd -> 3rd or 3rd -> 4th).

Or if you are not too pressed for actions (i.e. trying to combine this spell with another Metamagic feat), you could try the Elemental Spell metamagic or get a lesser Elemental rod (3000gp).

If this bard hasn't been built yet, you could consider the Magician archetype from the Advanced Player's Guide; you get to poach spells from other lists.

That is a lot of the things I was finding too with not having a cold spell of 3rd level. I am currently playing a 5th Water Singer Bard Undine with my Gen Con 2013 GM Boon and would like to make her a Winter Witch (Witch Archetype) into a Winter Witch prestige class. I can do it by just taking the 5 levels of Winter Witch (Witch Archetype) to go into Winter Witch prestige class. However that only leaves me with 2 levels before the character retires in Society play. taking two more levels in Bard and then one level in Winter Witch (Witch Archetype) and having a 3rd level cold spell as a bard would let me have 4 levels in Winter Witch prestige class. There for getting me the Sculpt Ice and Snow (Sp) ability.

I will look into the other ideas.
