What happens when the heroes chartered to explore the Stolen lands make treaties with locals and end up dead with the charter passing into the hands of goblins???

Mite Cleric of The One Below 2; 25/25 hp

Quuroog relishes the scent of the earth clinging to the roots, slowing down her harvesting. With each radish she pulls, she says a prayer as she inhales deeply.

"Good clean dirt!"

Seeing the goblin biting into a radish, she follows suit and her eyes light up as the flavor floods through her mouth and sinuses. It almost seems that a mist issues forth from her ears as her eyes roll up with pleasure.

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

Colvin picks radishes throwing them into his sack hurriedly. Clearly he is worried about another creature of that type appearing nearby!

So much so he does not even partake in eating the radishes!

M somewhat akin to a kender Y / MA

Colvin's senses detect no smells other than birds, rabbits, and deer near the radish patch, but his nervousness continues....

Let's get this back to the keep. We can do it up, the goblin says with a grin.

Jhod "What's this another kobold?"

The gunslinger looks at the new arrival...
"Sarhashil? What brings you here?"

Brawler (WC1) HP 12/12 | AC 16/T11/FL15 | Fort 4/ Ref 3/Will 0 | Perc +6, Init +1 | Monty HP 15/15 | AC 15/T14/FL12 | Fort 4/Ref 6/ Will 1 | Perc +1, Int +3

Sarhashil was looking away from the others as they came back. He was not being very attentive at the moment and when the gunslinger spoke, the poor green kobold let out a yelp of surprise.

He jumped and turned about hissing loudly "Shhh, Kelvaalpaaz knows better then to sneak on poor Sarhashil. Poor Sarhashil spooks easy and flies into aggressive dances yes..." he said as he slowly lowered his claws and hid his teeth.

He seemed confused for a moment, looking as though he had lost his train of thought before he hopped excitedly from one foot to the other. "You, you is in big trouble. Yous big badda boom boom dirt went boom, killed several kobolds. That not important, what important is Chief is angry. Wants you home to watch over boom boom dirt...yes, sent me to make sure you come back. In Snarffs mouth if needed...mmmhmm" he said grinning again, showing his teeth.

M somewhat akin to a kender Y / MA

The gunslinger agrees though he suspects a mite prank or goblin fire obsession led to this disaster...he packs up and wanders off towards the tunnel warrens to get a first hand look at the damage.

"Avenge our friends, my friends. "

Jhod looks somber and says a prayer for kobolds..

M Goblin Unchained Rogue 1/Admixture Evoker 1 | HP: 18/18| AC: 18 (16 T, 13 FF) | CMB: -2, CMD: 13 | F: +1, R: +7, W: +0 | Init: +5 | Perc: +3

New kobold looks ready. You'll get to fight lots, hang around us!

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

"Boom powder? No boom powder at the outpost I say!!! Radishes though, let's get radishes to the outpost. Then it's time for Jhod's God!"

Brawler (WC1) HP 12/12 | AC 16/T11/FL15 | Fort 4/ Ref 3/Will 0 | Perc +6, Init +1 | Monty HP 15/15 | AC 15/T14/FL12 | Fort 4/Ref 6/ Will 1 | Perc +1, Int +3

The kobold merely lets out a look of disgust and a bleh at the mention of radishes.

He calls over his mount with a whistle and the tiger comes to stop beside him.

M somewhat akin to a kender Y / MA

Jhod: "Not everyone likes the radishes, I prefer mine cooked, some I hear prefer the mash which is a fiery drink for celebrations."

The radishes are gathered and the crew heads out again with no further sightings of neither cockatrices, or small stone animals....

M Goblin Unchained Rogue 1/Admixture Evoker 1 | HP: 18/18| AC: 18 (16 T, 13 FF) | CMB: -2, CMD: 13 | F: +1, R: +7, W: +0 | Init: +5 | Perc: +3

I like it all!

M somewhat akin to a kender Y / MA

Jhod "I think with a gamey meat it might be a great thing to add, and radishes can keep through the winter in a root cellar or a cave."

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

Once the radishes are returned to the outpost Colvin turns to his companions.

"Now, let's find that Temple!"

M somewhat akin to a kender Y / MA

The outpost is appreciative to have the moon radishes, and Jhod is ready to go to the temple, he likewise packs a saddlebag full of radishes for himself.

"Good hunting!" calls Oleg as you head out again...

M Goblin Unchained Rogue 1/Admixture Evoker 1 | HP: 18/18| AC: 18 (16 T, 13 FF) | CMB: -2, CMD: 13 | F: +1, R: +7, W: +0 | Init: +5 | Perc: +3

We'll find Jhod's god, or your money back!

Mite Cleric of The One Below 2; 25/25 hp

"What money?"

M Goblin Unchained Rogue 1/Admixture Evoker 1 | HP: 18/18| AC: 18 (16 T, 13 FF) | CMB: -2, CMD: 13 | F: +1, R: +7, W: +0 | Init: +5 | Perc: +3

Err... I dunno...

Mite Cleric of The One Below 2; 25/25 hp

"Quuroog want money back, too!"

M Goblin Unchained Rogue 1/Admixture Evoker 1 | HP: 18/18| AC: 18 (16 T, 13 FF) | CMB: -2, CMD: 13 | F: +1, R: +7, W: +0 | Init: +5 | Perc: +3

We gotta get goin'. Get some money. Somethin'!

Gufi spins around, full of energy.

M somewhat akin to a kender Y / MA

Jhod "Excellent we should all move forward and soon discover everything that is to be found in the chartered area."

Which hex are we heading to?

Mite Cleric of The One Below 2; 25/25 hp

Which hexes are considered to be known? That is, I assume where our tribes are located are considered explored and perhaps the hex around the trading post.

What clues can Jhod provide with regards to the location of the temple? Did he say it's in a forest? I'm thinking he did...

M somewhat akin to a kender Y / MA

Basically you guys know the land more so than typical explorers, hence the old map of the greenbelt. You learned scale and such from the Iconics who had first been chartered to explore, so you and they were going to visit everywhere and create the exploration map.

There were places that the tribes never even considered going into....
The deep forest and wide open plains for example.

Mite Cleric of The One Below 2; 25/25 hp

Quuroog looks at the new map and points at hex. "Jhod's god like trees? Maybe start here, move down map?"

On the belief that Oleg's is in B10, she points at C9 as a starting point with the thought to proceed down the eastern edge of the forest hexes and move deeper into the forest with the next pass.

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

Colvin grins, "God idea". He then hisses in delight at his own stupid joke. "Jhod, it is your God, that seem a good idea?"

M Goblin Unchained Rogue 1/Admixture Evoker 1 | HP: 18/18| AC: 18 (16 T, 13 FF) | CMB: -2, CMD: 13 | F: +1, R: +7, W: +0 | Init: +5 | Perc: +3

Yes, trees!

Brawler (WC1) HP 12/12 | AC 16/T11/FL15 | Fort 4/ Ref 3/Will 0 | Perc +6, Init +1 | Monty HP 15/15 | AC 15/T14/FL12 | Fort 4/Ref 6/ Will 1 | Perc +1, Int +3

"MMM...yes, trees. Much better for hiding then plains. No...don't like open places. Can't hide, get eaten."

M somewhat akin to a kender Y / MA

Jhod:
"Indeed, such a place is certainly hidden from site, so the woods seems a good idea."

It takes you guys a few minutes to look at the mapping gear and orient everything just right, Jhod watches on as you set about the process of exploring the forest, which of course means going in a round about way, rather than straight through a hex....

M Goblin Unchained Rogue 1/Admixture Evoker 1 | HP: 18/18| AC: 18 (16 T, 13 FF) | CMB: -2, CMD: 13 | F: +1, R: +7, W: +0 | Init: +5 | Perc: +3

Sounds good, KK.

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

Colvin feels alone for the first time in a ling time, with his Eidolon guiding the tribes to the Outpost he cannot call it forth yet. Still being with companions is good!

Colvin steps away form the noisiest of them to move as silently as he can through the woods. Stealth 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (14) + 11 = 25

He also keeps his eyes out for ancient ruins. Perception 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14.

M somewhat akin to a kender Y / MA

The woods deepens and darkens here, the light of the sun decreasing as you go further into the woods than any of your peoples have ventured before, according to lore this is part of the haunted woods. The day passes uneventfully, and you are in the heart of the woods as night falls.
Hex C7

Ratfolk Human Warpriest 1 - Summoner 1

"Dark now, we make camp? Continue by day? Even for us hard to see ancient hidden ruins by night..."

M somewhat akin to a kender Y / MA

Jhod: "I am just a man so yes I usually camp at night, set a fire, cook a meal, the usual."

Mite Cleric of The One Below 2; 25/25 hp

"Quuroog see good. But camp good, Quuroog tired."

Brawler (WC1) HP 12/12 | AC 16/T11/FL15 | Fort 4/ Ref 3/Will 0 | Perc +6, Init +1 | Monty HP 15/15 | AC 15/T14/FL12 | Fort 4/Ref 6/ Will 1 | Perc +1, Int +3

"I...can't see good in the dark" the kobold muttered as he stayed near the light of the campfire. He might as well let it be known that the many hours in the light of day had blinded the poor kobold from their normal capability in the dark.

M somewhat akin to a kender Y / MA

Who is setting the fire and who is on guard duty?
If no one else claims the fire then I will give it to the kobold

Guard duty, roll a perception check please.
Stealth 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (15) + 17 = 32

Mite Cleric of The One Below 2; 25/25 hp

Quuroog will take a middle shift. She will be away from the fire, watching from a perch in a tree. Her darkvision is 120', which might be an advantage to something used to not having to sneak until the last 60'.

Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25

M somewhat akin to a kender Y / MA

So who is watching while camp is being set, and who is lighting the fire?

Brawler (WC1) HP 12/12 | AC 16/T11/FL15 | Fort 4/ Ref 3/Will 0 | Perc +6, Init +1 | Monty HP 15/15 | AC 15/T14/FL12 | Fort 4/Ref 6/ Will 1 | Perc +1, Int +3

Sarhashil works on getting the fire up and going for the evening.

Hey, who did that? Not funny! No cantrip pranks in the woods!

percep: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21

Gufi looks at the other casters, realizing they didn't do it.

B-But if you didn't cast it, and I didn't cast it, then who c-c-casted it?

He looks around again, his eyes big with worry.

Mite Cleric of The One Below 2; 25/25 hp

Quuroog looks down from the tree she's climbed. "Quuroog not cast what?"

M somewhat akin to a kender Y / MA

Johod: "No but I recognize the spell, minor magic, totally harmless."

Colvin?

Brawler (WC1) HP 12/12 | AC 16/T11/FL15 | Fort 4/ Ref 3/Will 0 | Perc +6, Init +1 | Monty HP 15/15 | AC 15/T14/FL12 | Fort 4/Ref 6/ Will 1 | Perc +1, Int +3

Sarhashil looks around bewildered and at the point in which someone says cast it, he hisses madly and whistles to Snarff "HUNT...don't let it eats us" he says as gets on all fours and tries to sniff about too. He was never any good at it but it was fun to join in with Snarff.

Handle Animal: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24 I believe that's enough to get it to do a trick that's on it's list no problem. Using the Detect trick

Snarff using Scent?: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20

Some kinda critter did it, I bet!

Gufi has no clue, but he can speculate.
