Does Malfunction work on golems?

Does the spell Malfunction (from Ultimate Magic) work on a golem, even though the golem has magic immunity? The spell hardly makes sense otherwise.

No, it doesn't. It works on every single construct that is not a golem or does not otherwise have magic immunity. Here is a list of constructs. The ones that do not have "golem" in their name do not have magic immunity for the most part. Aluums and caryatid columns have magic immunity because they are golems without "golem" in their name, as far as I can tell.
