Half Race combinations

Rules Questions

Liberty's Edge

I have not found a rule that says you cannot combine Half races e.g. (half-elf or half orc) with another race. For example half-elf and dwarf, or half-orc and gnome. The result would be, as far as CR is concerned, would be 2/3 CR, which is 1/3 away from having some sort of racial hit die. Another combination could be half-elf and aasimar, creating a CR of 5/6. Is this at all possible for PFS play?

Any clarification would be helpful.

No.

See FAQ link at top of this page:

"Are races such as tieflings and aasimars considered as half-human in Pathfinder Society Organized Play?"
"Yes."

For other mixed/half races you would need to find a source book with them in that are allowed by additional resources.

The rule would be where it says that to utilize any content outside the CRB (and I don't recall any elf/dwarf hybrid stats in the CRB) you need to bring the book it's published in as well as a copy of the Additional Resources page showing it's legal.

If you have a book that prints stats for a gnome/orc race and Additional Resources says it's legal, knock yourself out.

First you need to find a rule that says you can.
