Do shield bonuses stack?

Rules Questions

Specifically

Orc Weapon Expertise (Combat)
You can do more with the weapons orcs favor the most.
Prerequisites: Base attack bonus +1, orc.
Benefit: When you take this feat, choose one of the benefits below. Whenever you wield a weapon that has "orc" in its name, you gain the benefit you chose so long as you are actually proficient with that weapon.

Defender: Gain a +1 shield bonus to your AC (or +2 if wielding a two-handed weapon).

Quarterstaff Defense (Ex): At 7th level, while wielding a quarterstaff, the staff magus gains a shield bonus to his Armor Class equal to the enhancement bonus of the quarterstaff, including any enhancement bonus on that staff from his arcane pool class feature. At 13th level, this bonus increases by +3. This ability replaces the medium armor and heavy armor class abilities.

No. Only two types of bonuses stack and pretty sure shield isn't one of them.

Sczarni

Shield bonuses do not stack.

Circumstance, Dodge, and Racial bonuses are the ones that stack.

Untyped bonses stack too.

I'm unfamiliar with the orc quarterstaff.

Yes. I was just listing the "types" that stack, but you are correct.

From what i've seen, shield bonus from using two or more shields stack but shield bonuses from effects do not stack.

This is wrong. Two shield bonuses from two separate shields do not stack.

Shield bonuses do not stack, in much the same way armour bonuses do not stack - mage armour and real armour don't stack, shield spell and real shield don't stack.

Each type of armor grants an armor bonus to Armor Class, while shields grant a shield bonus to Armor Class. The armor bonus from a suit of armor doesn't stack with other effects or items that grant an armor bonus. Similarly, the shield bonus from a shield doesn't stack with other effects that grant a shield bonus.

What i'm getting from what this says, which is from the core rulebook, is that if you have two shields the ITEM bonuses stack but if you have a shield and any other EFFECT (feat, magic, etc) do not stack.

Silver Crusade

The item bonuses don't stack: choose the best one. Also, there is only a single shield slot for magic items.
