Please join me in congratulating Mike McKeown as the newest GM to reach the summit of PFS GMing! Mike has been a stalwart in the Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD areas since Season 0, to include serving the community as both a Venture-Lieutenant and then a Venture-Captain.

Mike, please take some time to enjoy the view from the peak of Five Star Mountain, you've earned it after the long hike up! Then take the tram down the back side to the tropical resort island where we've all relocated.

Excellent, Mike! congratulations!

What did you run for your 150th table? How did it go?

What advice do you typically want to give beginner GMs? Or to folks with maybe a couple dozen games under their belts?

Congratulations Mike,
& thank you :)

thanks all! I feel honored to be among Dan, Doug Miles, Art, Thea and the two Kyles!

For brand new DM's I always say just got for it and run a scenario or adventure. You'll learn from any mistakes and practice makes perfect! For folks with a few games under their belt like one star GM's I say congrats! Just keep GMing and soon you'll have 4 or 5 stars.

Congratulations - and I'm curious too, what did you run!?

Congratulations Mike!

Mike & I played PFS together for the first time at GenCon 2008. I still remember his half-orc jumping off a siege tower to take out a War Hound in Silent Tide (going unconscious from the falling damage) because it was a cinematic action. It was a desperate fight. If nothing else, Mike makes games memorable.

I guess I should say something about a mountain and an island? Congratulations on reaching five star status!

How did Mike get his 5th star without killing one of my characters? I demand a recount.

If getting his own characters killed is a prerequisite, Mike qualified a long time ago! I've only killed off one of his characters, with a crit from a horsechopper.
