I just stumbled across an item with very little formatting, was pretty short...and a VERY creative idea. In a design space I don't think I've seen handled this way. I really liked it. Good job.

I have my plate, knife and fork at the ready, and I am hungry enough to want to find out.

I don't particularly like guns in my fantasy, but there's one gunslinger item I'm growing quite fond of.

Similarly, while not being overly fond of Summoners, I actually like *most* of the Summoner-focused items I've seen. (Though not most of the summoning items, if you get the difference.)
I just came across a new, and intriguing, item.

There, I think that was more vague, don't you?

Darn you, Feros!
You win.
I normally hate dice/decks of cards/other in-game randomness items, but that gambling-accessory-themed item was actually pretty neat.

Just saw an item that has a similar mechanical affect to mine, but a different visual. I think it will be more popular because the imagery is more...fantastic.
I like to think mine is written more tightly and concisely, but I did upvote this other item for its cleverness.

There, I think that was more vague, don't you? I see you're wearing your nebulous torc of equivocal vagueness.

I have found an item that I will consistently vote for when presented with. <3
I have found a couple like that... not sure what I'll do if I get both of them together.

Yay, finally found my item.
Now to wait until after the probable culling and worry once again :P
Oooh, I like that Torc. May not particularly use it often (if at all) but I like it!

There are some gloves that I really like, despite some rather severe pricing problems.

Right, Paizo?
While the idea behind this one item is blatantly ripped off of a popular author's work it is pitch perfect at adapting that idea.

Right, Paizo? While true, it shows that the potential author has technical issues with their writing that may cause issues during development.

Right, Paizo? While true, it shows that the potential author has technical issues with their writing that may cause issues during development. Aye, it's a "yellow flag." Personally, such a problem won't usually cause me to vote against the item, but if an item with a pricing problem makes it into the top 32, I'm going to be watching that entrant's monster that much more for balance issues.
More likely, though, the item will come up against another item with an appropriate price and lose votes that way.

Keep file is up to 16 items now.
I started my keep pile late (voting from the phone).
Mine is a little larger, but admittedly I'm keeping things I think might appeal to the other players in my group, not just me.
Saint Caleth wrote: While the idea behind this one item is blatantly ripped off of a popular author's work it is pitch perfect at adapting that idea. So as long as you're pitch perfect at plagerism
Just added another item to my keep file. It's not my usual style, in that it just gives a few basic bonuses. But the visual is fantastic, and I reckon the right player would love using it.
Not counting my own item I currently have 7 "keeps", although I did start compiling this list rather late in the piece. I don't consciously favour longer or shorter entries. That said, 6 out of my 7 keeps are 200+ words.

You, good item, are unique and clever.
I like you.

Third new item today, 299 words...and I liked it! Upvote!
I've gotten several new items ... mind you, I'm not insane Marathon Voter likely going to be Champion Voter ... so I have more to see.
But most of them I have liked more, and not just because they were new.
Just based on the name, I was prepared to hate this item and almost dismissed it out of hand - glad I didn't. Upvoted and sent to the keep folder.
I've seen a couple items now wherein the name felt soul sucking, but after reading it I found them to be decent to good items.
I've got 9 items in my "keep" folder right now. They average 228 words, but if you take out the two short items (133 and 139), they average 254. I actually am not really crazy about any of their names, which surprises me. The one I like best is alliterative, though.
This item makes the trickster/troublemaker in me cackle with glee. It makes the GM side of me groan, but that's better than a "Oh, hell no!" Clever twist on a spell-in-a-can by changing the parameters of what the spell can do.
Ok Jeff, I gotta know what one is if you'd PM it to me! I may have had the same reaction to it if it is what I am thinking.
Oh, such a fun item! I can't wait to be inside you...

I learned three words from items, and none as a result of thesaurus abuse.

Great idea! An item which allows a very specific bending of the rules, and executes it with panache.
