Only way I know of counting votes is check your tag after every vote, and when you move up to the next level you know your count. I'm at 103 right now (give or take one).

Actually, you are already there. It only applies to your main Avatar, not your aliases. I looked up your central Avatar, and it was there.

Champion voters are scary. Almost six hours of voting a day, every day, for two weeks. And that assumes each entry is felt with in the minimum 60 seconds.

It actually makes me worry slightly about them having undue influence on the voting results, but then I remember that A) there were 500,000 votes last year, so a champion is only 1% of that, and B) the results are still only advisory to the judges who pick from the top 50 or so (I think?). Also, they're likely to have good judgement if they're that dedicated.

It's definitely an impressive achivement, though.

I HAD A COUPLE OF BUSIER DAYS ON THE WEEKEND AND THEN I AM JUST DOING TEN IN THE MORNING BEFORE WORK AND TEN IN THE EVENING (and i have just turned caps lock off)

I am watching Justified on my 2nd monitor while voting (started with Bones). I've seen all episodes and I can concentrate with such distractions in the background (wrote my last campaign while terrorizing my neighboors with Dubstep), but it helps passing the time when I am waiting for the timer.

Also, I had some good laughs when an item made some weird sense in the actual scene, and I continue to imagine Raylan using gloves, golden teeth, or cloaks against the bad guys :)

In my province the minimum is $10/hour. So it is a VERY good thing for Paizo that they are not paying me. :)

In the cull post, SKR said nearly 200,000 votes have been cast. Paizo's based in Washington, where the minimum wage is $9.32.

200,000 votes at 1 vote per minute = 3,333 hours = $31,066.66 minimum* pre-tax cost for Paizo to hire people to do this at minimum wage.

It'd take 139 hours, or 17.4 business days, just to hit the cull.

* Washington has exceptions for 14- and 15-year-olds, who make 85% of the minimum wage. Many people spend more than 1 minute per vote.

I was about to make this exact post, pretty much, as I'd done this math a little while go (when someone implied some people were only voting to get the names, to point out the work it takes to get the titles). (Now, I've stopped voting for now as I've gone back to work and need to focus on stuff that doesn't require me to stare at a computer screen otherwise--this is my lunch break.)

Note that if you think of about an average 8 hour work day, a Dedicated voter has done effectively just over a day of volunteer work; Marathon Voters over two days, Champion, two work weeks (10 8 hour days).

So y'all getting all those votes in, y'all are awesome.

Can you add two extra tag points between Marathon and Champion. Something like...

"Power Voter" at 2,000 and "Super Voter" at 3,500 ?

I think with the reduced voting period, Champion is beyond most of us mere mortal voters.

I think that if both items are repeats there should be a reduced timer. Unfortunately I doubt that could be implemented this year.

I think if no one gets to 5000, then whoever had the most votes should get the Champion Voter tag, since they will, in fact, be the Champion Voter.

I have a suggestion regarding the naming conventions. We ought to do away with the Marathon Voter moniker and just go with Committed Voter. As in "you freaks ought to be committed to an asylum!"

You think there is a big jump from 100 to 500 it is nothing compared to the jump from 1,000 to 5,000.

Sweet. I was a Star Voter since before the cull and today a pushed and made Dedicated before the cut off! I was a long way from the Marathon I made last year, but I saw my own item one additional time this year than last year in less than half the votes.
