Wow, with the proper technology, you can can anything for future use.

Momentarily thrilled to see two new items, then I realized it was another soup and another item that turns the wearer undead. Let's see if these can take things up a notch...
I saw one monkey item and I actually liked it.
Gauntlets that I think I already seen last year...
Okay, I have to say something about a kind of item I see pop up frequently. No one will pay a very significant amount of money for an item that increases their carry capacity. The entire point of being able to increase your carry capacity is to carry heavy and cumbersome treasure. Spending a lot of money on an item that helps you carry treasure is counter productive. Yet, I keep seeing items that do this for 20k, even one for 40k. And if it lets a PC carry something really ridiculously heavy like a boat, no GM will allow it.

Yay! Item that is visibly magical on first sight...
Item idea nice but could work better mechanically.
How many torcs is too many?
Am I mean?
I've gotten to where if I don't like either item I just vote based on how close they got to the correct format without using bogus stiff like Minor or Medium Aura power, does CL match power level, did they put in Craft Wondrous, is it a Wondrous item? etc.

How many torcs could a wood orc torque if a wood orc could torque torcs?
I am sure you are inspired by Das Schwarze Auge (The Dark Eye), you are just a little bit too weird...

Nice idea but requirements are off. Mechanics also needs some polishing.
I finally saw an item that many here have "faced."
Recycling is all the rage now. But the other item idea was more appealing to me.

Thank you.

Just popping in to be a smart@$$. ROFL I'm not sure what I posted in the past that makes you think I change what I say at all afterward, but I hope I live up to your expectations again this year :-)
Another item with a nice idea but needing polishing.

There's my item again. Another surprise. Plus, soup!

Pi! 1492! New Jersey!
I just found an item with "blood" in the title that I do not find objectionable. What is this world coming to!? [stage whisper]I even voted for it![/stage whisper] dies

Okay...rainbow poop, check.
This has got to be an item SKR snuck in here, right?
Whoo...gotta catch my breath.
I hope there is only one such item...
It would be decent if the author hadn't add the last paragraph.

Rainbow poop? RAINBOW POOP?
I give up. I'm going to a birthday party. You all better get through this part of the voting queue before I get back! :-)
If the item does not uses slot then don't write it occupies one but does not take it...
I have seen the rainbow poop. I may have even voted for it because the other item was worse.
Item I have copied to keep file (yes, I started it for that item) appeared again. Let us see against what it has to compete.
And finished steamrolling the other item that was modest spell-in-a-can with some redundancies in its description.
Seems that lots of mithril was used in creationof super star items.
How much for such item?!
Ah, you accidentally added a zero to price...

It's mah class inna box! /music
Why spell-in-a-can that produces CL 5th effect has CL 10th?
And another item that requires a spell that has nothing to do with its effects.
Pro tip: If your item explicitly states that its own cost is prohibitive for what it does, then it probably costs too much for what it does.
Yay! I always wanted to make a character with that Profession so that +5 competence bonus will be very useful!
Seriously, thought, the item has its simple rustic charm, even if only useful in very specific campaigns...
I can see that one become useful in Kingmaker. Peasants rejoice!
Is there such as thing as overpowered? Indeed, you found it.
Item with an unexpected twist, but with its intended role it's good that it is hard to guess.
I was trying to avoid this thread (besides being WAY too long) I wanted to be a more "positive" voice. But here I am, so I'll put in my 3 cents:
1) I keep running across an item that takes me right to the Clerks movie with Jay saying, "Olaf..."
2) Aren't named items based on a specific person artifacts instead of wondrous items? (especially when it seems highly unlikely there is more than one of them in existence)
3) Doesn't a non-evil person that willingly accepts a Profane/evil/unholy bonus run the risk of alignment change?
There... I'm done (at least for now).
Oh, and I should be getting somewhat close to 500 votes by now and still have not seen my item! (that's just me whining, I'll get over it)

This is my first post to this thread, so I'll try to cram a bunch in at once:
About my item: UHHH!!! I was too bland. Bummer. I saw a post that noted my choice of words...I should have been more careful. At least the post was not cruel. Oh well...it was my first try. I'll take it as a learning experience.
About what I've seen so far:
OMG! SOOO many items that try to do WAY to much. SOO many items that are way to complex to figure out. If I have to read it three times, and I'm still unclear...I can't say that it's a useful item. I think simple is better.
Maybe I play a low power game, but SOO many items seem way over the top. I agree that the top 32 should shine and be interesting. I don't that that severe power creap is the answer.
So...its a very expensive Halloween Costume.
Sorry, elixir of skill bonuses might be decent item but it certainly isn't super star...

Goodness, a retraining item I don't hate!
Two quite interesting items. Tiebreaker? Fluff on one was particularly appealing to me.
