Science fiction item vs modern item
Just found an item I find so offensive and disgusting I may have to hit the neither button if it is paired with my current worst item choice.
Because two heads are better than one :)
I like items that deform terrain, not enough of that. Especially few that are reliable.

"feather fail"
are you serious.
It's an hourglass. Or a clock. That has something to do with. . . TIME.
I am shocked by the originality.
Oh, and everything is covered in runes. Expressive runes that can be angry, or tell you something is turned on. Or evil. Runes everywhere I look. Odin would be proud!

ugh... voted against the same item about 20 times now... but, sure enough, there was something out there worse that finally forced me to upvote it.

I just love it when I read and item and think "I'm voting for the other item no matter what"... then I read the other one and reconsider...

"Runes" is the archaic form of the word "Spam."

It takes me from utter despair at postings that might reference my item to thinking, "Hey, I must really have a shot at this...!"
And then back again...

I've definitely seen a few comments in this thread that could have been leveled against my item, but they are almost exclusively positive...

Sounds like those items have really runed the competition for you.

I'm hoping (and expecting) to see some hardcore voters from last year make the Top 32 this year.
Wisps, wisps, wisps... everywhere I look... wisps...
Wisps, wisps, wisps, wisps... You know the song...
I think I'm at the point where I'm more likely to see items I have seen than items I haven't.

The runes are just something I'm noticing. It's not a plus but not a deal-breaker. I feel like I'm learning a lot about what makes a good entry for next year.
edit: Oh. Now I get it. I am smart, SMRT

Or am I mistaken?

Why do people make vomiting items when SKR specifically made a guideline against vomiting items?
I've seen a few well deserved hits that could be attributed to mine. I feel like I'm learning a lot, but I stand behind my item.
Vladamir vs Warwick items hrm... Tough decision.
