That's it. Next year I am creating a spreadsheet on Google Drive to keep track of stuff, too!
That one gets my spider senses tingling
I think I'm about done voting. If I clear my slate before voting wraps, I'll make a push for 1,000, but if not, good luck to everybody!

Well, I'll be ...
Do I win somethin'?
Two items that I said I would never vote for, but I'm trying my best not to use that middle button...

Yep! You win the much coveted "'Attaboy!" :)

I've voted for a lot of items I wish I didn't have to.
It only happens when the other item is even more hated.
So what is the highest known post-cull unique? 667?
I'm at 508

Where are you guys getting these numbers from? Or is this only viewable if you submitted an item.

I'm lazy. I wrote a perl script to sniff, compile into streams, decode the gzip encoding, separate and normalize the items, count unique votes, count and retain a copy of unique items.
So all I do is vote, and occasionally run a script to produce a report.

Sadly, I can't view it because it is Google docs.
Still waiting for rainbow poo. Sad I missed the 1.8m gp item.

Ooh dream weaver
I believe you can get me through the night
Ooh dream weaver
I believe we can reach the morning light
Fly me high through the starry skies
Maybe to an astral plane
Cross the highways of fantasy
Help me to forget todays pain

I thought it was in a different spot.
Down a cold lonesome highway.
Cool wind in my hair.
Warm smell of callitas
Rising up through the air.
See, I just have "Counting Stars" in my head for no actual reason.

...you wouldn't know a cunning plan if it stripped naked, painted itself blue, and danced on the end of your nose singing "Cunning plans are here again."
Made the cull it seems!
I smiled at first and then reflected that this just means I have to wring my hands some more...
Just prolonging the agony...
Why would anyone cast a spell on a piece of clothing?

That's exactly the reason why I left for a while. It's even more nerve-wracking post-cull.
The only reason I'm back is that I have a very, very sick cat right now. "The Sopranos" and the 1-minute timer are the only things keeping me awake enough to take care of her. The first time I've been happy with that 1-minute interval.

Thank you both so much. It's just going to be a long night. But that's part of the deal. And I maybe get to see my item again. :)
I keep over-analyzing my item, more and more with each passing day. I don't know if it's Top 32 worthy, but it's still good to see it.

After a long day of work, dealing with a broken car and family issues at home, sometimes just sitting here vegging reading magical items (and stealing some to use in my own game) is worth its weight in gold. Never thought voting for items could be so therapeutic.
857 votes since cull, 525 unique items, 25 remaining known that I have yet to see. That makes 550 items minimum.
Voting for all these magical items brings me back to the days of high school. When I blew a crapload of cash (to me back then) at my local gaming store on all the volumes of the 2nd ed Encyclopedia Magica and spending hour upon hour reading the vast amount of awesome magical items that were in those books. Stuff that I would have never of thought of myself but would be so cool if my PC would have. Makes me wish Paizo would take all the good items (that didnt win the competition, but are well written nonetheless) and make a similar volume of books. Theres way too much creativeness in this competition without having it shared in a few tomes to be passed down to your gamer kids.

A bunch of items from various years of RPG Superstar were included in Ultimate Equipment. It was just a small percentage of all the Top 32 items, but as far as I know, it is the only place Paizo have published any of the material from the contest, apart from the winning module obviously.

Thank you! You da man!
And sweet, I just made dedicated!
Couldn't go to sleep just yet.
Time for some stats:
87 1 times
82 2 times
94 3 times
93 4 times
66 5 times
49 6 times
32 7 times
14 8 times
5 9 times
6 10 times
1 12 times
I've voted for 1 item 12 times, 6 items 10 times, 5 9 times, etc.
But only once for my item.
Yes, I received one item 10 times (and upvoted it every time because it is actually quite good). I received my item 3 times, once after the cull, so pretty much average.
I get new items all the time now but don't see old ones any more (as tehse seem to have been voted upon in sufficient numbers).
Alas most new items are either +n to x items or storing devices of obviousness...

It finally happened Same two items in a row in the same spot.
Edit: and again different items though
Yay! Just saw an odd item I kinda like made it through the cull. Quirky.
