Can I ask who did the art for my Cobblestone Lurker? It was fantastic! Almost spot on to what I had in my head!

Liberty's Edge Contributor

The cobblestone lurker was done by Adam Koča. I agree. He did a great job. He also drew the thespis.

Thanks Paris!

And a big 'Thank You', with big smoochy kisses to Crystal, for her flattering portrayal of Yours Truly.

I wish I could be that dashing at all hours of the day, but it's so wearying being that fabulous. It is a burden we artistes just have to bear.
Only my cats get to see the real me, before the warpaint goes on, I'm afraid!

Pretty sure my copy is coming with my next player companion, can't wait to hold it in my hands!

Got my July subscription and no Wayfinder :( Was there anything I needed to do to get my copy included?

Tim posted somewhere that shipping would start in August. Also, you should've gotten an email by Wayfinder asking for your shipping data where it was written:

4. ARE YOU A REGULAR SUBSCRIBER, or ARE YOU GOING TO PLACE AN ORDER IN THE NEXT MONTH OR SO (I'm thinking these will start going out in August or September....)

Ahh, I thought it would be with July; feel better then it will come with my People of the Stars instead of River People

Hey, Nate. Yeah, we need to give the Paizo folks a chance to get through GenCon and process the whole list of contributors. They do us a huge favor by including these in shipments and have a system for how they make it work. Sorry for the delay, but we appreciate your patience.

Hey there.
Just received AP #83 which I ordered with hope of getting my free copy of WF #11--sadly it didn't work out (aka no WF).

Could you provide me with another idea (what would it cost to ship WF? I'd pay for the shipping costs by donating)?

Ruyan.

I didn't get my copy with my August subscriptions either, my guess is that they are still busy from Gencon and hopefully they ship with September?

So, here is the deal...I have supplied the list of contributors, and the information that all of you provided, to Paizo. I need to confirm that this info has been received.

Paizo has all of the copies of #11. When they get unburied from all of the orders and problems they came back to from GenCon, then they will be able to deal with shipping free Wayfinders out. It's a matter of priorities, and their products and subscriptions obviously come first, so, while I understand that you want your copy, it's just going to take time. We have NEVER gotten complimentary issues out until September at the earliest. To expect Wayfinders in August is just unreasonable.

Remember.....Paizo is doing this to help out, and it is something they didn't have to offer. I consider it HUGELY generous of them to take this on for us. Otherwise, you'd all need to wait for me, personally, to find time and money to ship the copies out.....and that would not be quick at all! ;-)

Seriously, let's have some patience. When I see my own copy of the ACG in my hands, and when I see the print copies go up on the Paizo store as available, then I'll know that the Paizo folks are caught up and able to start helping us, The copies will come.

Hi Tim,

thanks for the clarification. Sorry if my post seemed offensive--wasn't meant to be.
Somehow, I had "WF will be shipped in August" stuck in my mind.

That misunderstanding may have been my fault. When the e-mails went out calling for the list of people who needed copies shipped to them, I was covering for Tim while he traveled for work. He has a better understanding of Paizo's process for this. What I said was that the copies would "likely not start shipping until August, after GenCon." What I failed to make clear is that the amount of time after GenCon depends on how long it takes Paizo to clear out their backlog of shipments and other things related to the activities that actually pay their bills.

I know that you're all anxious to get your hands on the paper copy of the magazine you helped us create. I fully understand that. I trust Paizo to take care of this as soon as they can. Tim and I will maintain communication with the Paizo team and try to keep you posted on the status of shipments.

Excellent! Make it so.

I've never been let down by either you guys or Paizo--so: no problem from my side. In hindsight, I was surprised when I "only" got my AP book. Motivation behind my email was more to understand why/what.

I got my answer (twice) and am fully satisfied. I'll find other items to order via Paizo I'm sure...

A little update...

A fair number of you are now emailing me wondering why your contributor copy is not in your September subscription shipment. Well, that's because we haven't squared everything away with Paizo to start that process yet. Paizo's been quite busy. I've been extremely busy. The process has gone slower than anticipated.

I know you'd like your copy. I'd like you to get your copy, too. However, this is going to take time. In the future, I think we will need to be very clear that there is no guaranteed delivery date for the copies. It is whenever 1) I get the requested info from contributors, 2) I have the free time to enter the information into a format that Paizo can use best, and 3) the good folks at Paizo can get the time to set it up and get the issue into their system.

I have more than enough copies for my contributors, and I have been extremely appreciative of Paizo for offering to help us. Please don't email or file a request with Customer Service. They are doing all they can. Bring your concerns to me at Wayfinder, and I will answer your questions. And I will put out an alert when I'm told the contributor copies are going out, and what you need to do (if anything).

Thanks,

Tim

Is there any ETA on the #11 contributor copies?

I've received my October box, and no WF. :(

Paizo is sending the Wayfinder #11 contributor copies out as...well, contributor copies. That means they are not being consolidated with any orders or subscription shipments. They are just being shipped to those on the list I provided.

I was told that everything is in the system now, so I would expect that copies will be starting to go out shortly.

Tim

Thanks for the update, Tim!
