Ok, so I'm just watching Leverage on Netflix. Am I the only one who thinks that Parker would fit into PFS just a little too well?

Pathfinder has ruined me for following any sort of media forever. I try to fit everything I see to Pathfinder roles, from the traditional Lord of the Rings (I'm in the "Gandalf is an aasimar druid" camp) to whatever the heck else I'm watching/reading/playing. Movies, TV shows, webcomics, everything.

You kidding? I'm going through Supernatural with my wife, and all the demons with their weaknesses and such... I know exactly what you're talking about! [Cold] Iron, holy water, aligned weaponry, salt for incorporeals. I often find myself wishing pouring a line of salt would create a barrier demons couldn't cross...

There's a good reason. John Rodgers, one of the two creators of Leverage is a gamer. In an interview he even joked that he has Leverage start and end as often as possible in a bar, simply because he loves the trope.
In that same interview, I believe he mentioned that he runs a Savage Worlds campaign.

Haha, back in the days of D&D 3.0, when I first watched Lord of the Rings with some friends, we also came to the conclusion that Gandalf is a druid (we didn't know about aasimars then, but aasimar actually makes sense). He definitely isn't a wizard.
We also defined Legolas as an Arcane Archer, and Frodo as a Commoner (*gg*).Oh, and those discussions even lead to us beginning a Lord of the Rings campaign using the D&D 3.0 ruleset (which ended with half of the party allying with Sauron, gaining lots of evil powers from him, and trying to hunt the other half of the party down (we had split the party and played on different days because the group had become too large)).
