Creature Group Creation Problems

Advice

Let me start off by saying Merry Christmas! Now that I got that out of my system I am trying to find a somewhat difficult group of NPC paladins to fight. Our group has 4 level 7 characters (barbarian, paladin, monk and rogue). I would prefer to have all of the pawns obtainable in a single NPC codex box. My original idea was to have two Hammer of Justice's, and two Holy Archer's. Despite not having enough pawns to do so I also thought it was pretty harsh but I do want to keep the two ranged and two melee format. I want my group to fail for the purpose of the campaign but I want them to be able to survive at least 5 groups of these 4 paladins. Please help me out!

This sounds like a home game question - did you accidentally post in the wrong place?

What exactly is your question?
Do you need advice what kind of character to build as the NPCs? As long as your party isn't evil, they'll be able to easily defeat a group of 4 level 6 paladins (paladins are surprisingly weak against anything that's not evil). But if your party is evil, you'll have to make your paladins a lower level.

The "party gets defeated" part depends on how you want this to happen. If you just want to send in one wave after the other, they will automatically drop at some point. You just can't survive against 4 combat characters that just appear again when you defeat them.
If they are supposed to meet those groups in different encounters, with enough time for healing and resting in between, just increase the levels with each encounter until the paladins get too strong for the party.

As for the pawns, just take some time to look through your collection, I'm sure there are enough ones that look some kind like the character you had in mind.
