For all the accolades of its contributors, Legendary Games started out as a pretty casual group of designers. However, as we've grown rapidly in the last two years we are also growing into more efficient business practices that are not just for our benefit, but also for YOURS!

One of the great things to look forward to in 2014 is a new production schedule, and we begin that conversation on our website, discussing specifically the new Mythic Minis line, including a rundown of the first 10 products upcoming in that line, and how that fits into what we're doing on a larger scale.

More information is yet to come, of course, but we are delighted with the support we've received from our fans and the Pathfinder community at large, and we are looking forward to an even more amazing year in 2014. We invite you to follow us on our website above or on our new Facebook page, on Google+, or on Twitter, as well as right here on the Paizo messageboards and the Paizo webstore. If you've never bought a Legendary Games product, read the reviews and give one a try; we would love to help Make Your Game Legendary!

I cannot wait to see 'em, Jason. I will be right near the front of the line waiting for them to release.

Can't wait. Judging from your previous work everything will be great.

Many of the products on that list are instabuy products for me. 2014 is shaping up to be an interesting year for Legendary Games. :)

Dark Archive

Unrightous villans is that like your previous Pc works or somethig diffrent? (Does it have the same full body character art?) Also any more info about Legendary tournaments about?

Grand Lodge

Ooo Mythic Monsters: Undead? You're writing my epic Carrion Crown game aren't you?!

I am definitely looking forward to Ultimate War, Fey Impulses, and Legendary Tournaments, but it all looks great.

For me, Ultimate War, Legendary Tournaments, the Righteous Crusade products, and the Pirate products are top of the list. But yeah, it does all look interesting.

I don't know if I would get everything, but around ten of those sound like something I might want to pick up.

I am super psyched to see some "pirate AP" related products that we discussed back at PaizoCon this year! Thanks Jason!

I have been recently hearing a little bit about the Ultimate War book. I've picked up Ultimate Rulership and Ultimate Battle and I'm definitely very interested in getting my hands on Ultimate War. Any ideas about when it'll be done?

Legendary Tournaments in March? Oh, this could be perfect. I'm looking for more tournament stuff since my PCs will be starting that part of book 5 on the 16th.

My hope is to get done writing Ultimate War by the end of March.

Legendary Tournaments is not quite done with writing, and I also don't have all the art in yet, so it's looking unlikely that it will be done this month. I'll ping the artist again and get a status update, but I'm guessing April is much more likely to see publication of both books.

Thanks for the status update! I'm looking forward to that book and I'll have to check out Ultimate War as well.

Yes, thank you for answering Jason. You are extremely nice about how you do it all and don't take offense when people ask about its status from what I've read. This is a kind of writer (I think that's your position) that I enjoy purchasing books from. I will wait and will be glad to purchase it when it comes out.

Glad to be of service, and in the case of Legendary Games I'm both the writer and the publisher! I'd love to push things out sooner, especially for products that have been delayed by one thing or another, but the downside of being a small operation is that there's only one of me to go around! Still, I'll do my level best to keep things moving and keep folks in the loop.

Liberty's Edge

Good looking list o' stuff Jason!

I'm holding off on the GM Day Sale, hoping that one of the announced products will be available before the sale ends. A guy can dream, right?

Mythic Monsters: Sea Monsters is on final approach. Initial layout pass looks good. A few things to fix in there, and this should be available early next week. Probably Tuesday in our webstore and on Friday in wide release.

But since I'm nice, here's a little scooby snack to tide (pun intended) you over until you get there.

How about some of this:

Boiling Breath (Su) A mythic dragon turtle’s steaming breath deals 16d6 points of fire damage, and its seething dampness affects natural and magical fires and creatures with the fire subtype as a quench spell (caster level 12th). Despite dealing fire damage, a mythic dragon turtle’s breath does not harm wood, cloth, rope, and similar flammable materials. A mythic dragon turtle’s steaming breath hangs in the air for 4 rounds, obscuring vision as a fog cloud. If a mythic dragon turtle expends one use of its mythic power as a free action when it breathes, its breath functions as solid fog rather than a fog cloud.

and a little bit of that:

Sea of Blood (Su) A mythic kraken can expend one use of its mythic power when it releases its ink cloud, causing the ink to turn into turgid, clinging blood. Creatures other than the mythic kraken within the sea of blood take 1d6 points of bleed damage per round and become sickened and nauseated for as long as they remain in the sea of blood and for 1 minute thereafter; a DC 31 Fortitude save makes the damage nonlethal and negates the nauseated condition.

So what do we have to do to get you a Dual Initiative?

I've just discovered a deep need for a particular Kingdom-Building Adventure Path supplement. It'd be a very small supplement, just one page, but it's kind of vital.

If you could see your way to producing a set of kingdom hex improvement icons, ideally by the same artist who did the map icons for Kingmaker, I'd be ever so grateful. ^.^ (For the record: Farm, Fishery, Fort, Mine, Quarry, Sawmill, Watchtower; and enough settlement icons to draw distinctions between Village, Town, City, Metropolis, and maybe Capital. I think roads, aqueducts, et cetera can be managed with just line-drawing tools.)

Scarab Sages RPG Superstar 2008 Top 4; Contributor; Publisher, Legendary Games

That's not a bad idea right there. I'll be in touch with the artist soon as he's working on another project, but we might see if we can fit it in.

Meanwhile, we should be having another Kingdom-Building AP Plug-In coming out very shortly, possibly as early as this Friday if all goes well!

I'll echo the praise of how patient and, well, nice to us, responding calmly and well mannered to our cries for product yet to reach publication. Many thanks for all your effort on our behalf. and I'm looking forward to that surprise plug-in!

Cheers
Mark

Well spoke, Mark. Well spoke.

Heh. Well apart from actually mentioning Jason by name. You can tell I'm not a proofreader by profession. Luckily the sentiment made it through.

Cheers

When I was a kid, one of my favorite cartoon theme songs went like this:

Up from the depths
Thirty stories high
Breathing fire
His head in the sky

GODZILLA!!!

Well, these guys might not QUITE be Godzilla, but I think you will be delighted to sic a dozen and one aquatic abominations on your PCs, with Mythic Monsters: Sea Monsters, available today at the Legendary Games webstore and on Friday here at Paizo and elsewhere in wide release!

RPG Superstar 2009, Contributor

Hmmm...seems like a collection of mythic monsters from the briny depths would be a great addition to a certain Skull & Crossbones Adventure Path. ;-)

So, what all else is coming up soon?

Scarab Sages RPG Superstar 2008 Top 4; Contributor; Publisher, Legendary Games

Matt Goodall has just sent me the text and maps for the Islands of Plunder project he's been working on. Given how it came out, I think it will be released as a series of short adventures rather than one giant product. If all goes well, the first one should be out next week!

Thanks! I hope it can work out.

Sounds awesome!

That idea (about the hex improvement icons) sounds great to me as well.

And another Kingdom-Building AP Plug-In coming soon? Ooh, I'm looking forward to it.

And thanks for the good news on the probably-April release date for both 'Ultimate War' and 'Legendary Tournaments', two tomes I've long awaited.

I've already had a good number of friends I have been bugging to check this thing out when it comes out (Ultimate War) and I've been doing my best to spread word of the two other Ultimate books (Rulership and Battle). Trying to get some local gamers to institute the books in their games because they have some awesome detail (though, for some reason, I cannot seem to print out Ultimate Rulership despite having bought it).

Of course, when I get a chance, I'll try looking into the other books that Legendary Games puts out.

Most of the art is in, waiting on one or two more pieces and a second map. Looking very good so far, though.

I'm really looking forward to Islands of Plunder! What levels will the adventures be for?

I believe the first two are for 6th and 4th levels.

Perfect. Thank-you.

It's MYTHIC MONDAY... come on, we'd never try to fool you. It's not like we're MYTHIC DEVILS...

Anything else new coming out shortly?

Scarab Sages RPG Superstar 2008 Top 4; Contributor; Publisher, Legendary Games

The next products out the door, aside from our weekly Mythic Minis, are likely to be the first two Islands of Plunder adventures. The first is waiting on one last map and one last illustration to get finished but is otherwise ready to go. The second should be along not too far after that one. After that, the next product after those will likely be Mythic Monsters 12: Fairy Tale Creatures around the beginning of next month.

My pile of variously-completed projects has been a bit neglected lately as I've been dealing with our Kickstarter, taxes, and two undisclosed projects, but I should have time next week to lay out a more detailed preview of products coming up over the next few months.

Thanks for checking in!

I'll be looking forward to this preview. And hmm, undisclosed projects? Now I am eager.

Sorry, I didn't mean to tease. I meant products that are undisclosed because they are for someone else and not announced, so no updates forthcoming on either for a while, until such time as they announce them.
