So the current online set up is great for a scenario here and there but what about those big huge awesome looking Adventure Paths?
I'm just wondering if any GMs and players would be interested in forming a dedicated group (Time each week/day/whatever) That people could set a schedule around to do these Adventures.

If'n it fits my schedule I would be interested!

Is everyone here talking about Play-by-Post or Virtual Tabletop? I've played and GM'd a lot of Virtual Tabletop games over Maptool. It's not as lively as an actual tabletop game, but it's a decent alternative when there aren't enough local players.
I'm curious about VTT games as I find PbP a little bit confusing with everyone posting their actions at the same time and then trying to sort through them and the SLOW pace of play.
Do you need a web cam and microphone to play in a VTT game? I don't currently have either of those (I have an old desktop PC) and feel that it might be a barrier to entry for those games. Is that correct?

You don't need a webcam (in fact, webcams often cause more technical problems than they're worth), but a microphone--preferably a simple headset--is essential. Fortunately, they're pretty cheap. VTTs have a chat feature for displaying rolls and typing out actions, spell effects, etc., but they're too slow for tactical discussions and RP.

Hey all,
Wanted to throw my hat in the "100% interested and committed" ring. With 2 little ones at home, a weekly online game is probably the best way for me to get my fix!
Looks like there is a possible DM or 2 (SpiritWolfFenris and/or Drinking J)?
I live in the Eastern Time Zone and was looking for either a weekday game ideally.
Also, I have almost all of the Adventure Paths (and have only read through Second Darkness, as I heard so many bad reviews I figured I would never play it). I'm happy to provide a copy to a willing DM.
I believe the idea is for VTT (like roll20). If everyone else is thinking PBP I will humbly bow out (it takes weeks just to get through one combat).
Anyway, here's to hoping! Thanks, Chris, for starting the thread.
