Here's a heads-up on some slayer changes I'll be implementing:

* Ranger combat style talent should say you can ignore the selected feat's prereqs, just as a ranger can.

* Add a "throwing weapon" combat style for rangers, which would be available for slayers, too.

* Add a couple more appropriate rogue talents to the list, like powerful sneak and unwitting ally.

* Replace Cha-based ninja assassinate talent with Int-based talent that does the same thing.

* Create more slayer talents.

* Find a balanced way to synergize favored target and sneak attack.

1, 3, 4, 5 and 6 - I like these al lot!!! Especially synergising FT and SA and more slayer talents/on theme rogue talents….

2 - Ok. Sure! :)

I suppose combat style *can* be more than just what weapon you use to hit things (or what creature you use to hit things, in 1 of 7 cases), but is it really worth the vitriol that they're not? I mean, Smite Evil could trigger a bunch of effects like the Rogue sneak attack talents, but they don't and nobody seems upset by that.

That perfectly covers my concerns.

Do any of these (I guess specifically the first one) apply to PFS?

I assumed that was already the case that slayers don't have to meet the prerequisites and that this here is only some clarification, not a change. As such it should apply to PFS.

Oops, these threads were supposed to be locked.

I don't have any say in what PFS does with this information. I suspect they're going to stick to the playtest #2 PDF rather than having incremental changes based on incomplete, unpublished information.

Anyway, thread locked now.
