New Kickstarters from Kobold Press and Drop Dead Studios!

It's a Kickstarter double feature! Today we bring you campaigns from Kobold Press and Drop Dead Studios.

Kobold Press presents Midgard Campaign Setting: Dark Roads & Deep Magic, updating the Midgard Campaign Setting, which supports both the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game and 5th Edition. The Midgard Campaign Setting is a 300+ page volume describing the Midgard regions, from the Northlands to the Western Wastes, and from the Southlands to the Crossroads. With detailed locations, cities, rulers, heraldry, plots, and adventure hooks galore, plus full details of the various pantheons, masked gods, and dark gods, there's enough here to fuel years of adventuring!

Also included in the campaign is the Midgard Heroes Handbook for 5th Edition, which contains full details for Midgard races, variants, archetypes, and backgrounds. You'll also get more than a dozen new cleric domains, new weapons and equipment, and Deep Magic spells and traditions such as Clockwork Magic and Ley Line Magic. Stretch goals will add even more Deep Magic to the book, plus expanded races and broader options for existing ones.

Next up is the Midgard Player's Guide for Pathfinder Roleplaying Game. This book collects all of Midgard's racial lore, class options, feats, and equipment under one set of covers—plus new material for ley line magic, and potential stretch goals for shadow magic and more. The Midgard Player's Guide is being developed by Pathfinder Roleplaying Game and Starfinder developer Amanda Hamon Kunz!

And last but not least is Eldritch Lairs, a series of short 5th Edition adventures written by James Haeck and other designers. This starts as a set of PDF stretch goals, and will become a print volume included with the premium tiers once the collection is big enough (it will be an add-on for Basic pledge tiers).

The next Kickstarter campaign is from Drop Dead Studios is Spheres of Might: A New Pathfinder Martial System. From the folks who brought you Spheres of Power, Spheres of Might is a new system for handling martial prowess in the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game and other D20 roleplaying games. and other D20 roleplaying games. Spheres of Might will contain over 20 spheres to provide characters with new and interesting options in and out combat, as well as new feats, thematic variants, and six new classes designed to showcase the new options and bring a great many character ideas to life. Some of the new classes included in the book are described below.

The Armiger: Armigers are skilled mercenaries who learn to leverage every trick at their disposal to triumph on the battlefield, and they learn to quickly and effectively use a variety of weapons in devastating combos.
The Blacksmith: Blacksmiths are mighty powerhouses whose strong physiques are complimented by talented minds that allow them to craft superior equipment for their allies. Blacksmiths also gain buffs by maintaining their gear during downtime.
Commander: Commanders are cunning leaders that specialize in bringing out the best in their allies and exhorting them to victory.

The Spheres of Might: A New Pathfinder Martial System Kickstarter end on February 14th, while the Midgard Campaign Setting: Dark Roads & Deep Magic Kickstarter ends on February 24th.

Midgard is fully funded and WELL into strech goals. Both for Pathfinder and 5e. There is a ton more goodies to unlock as well!

Midgard Campaign Setting: Dark Roads & Deep Magic kickstarter reached a pretty big milestone over night: it surpassed the $100,000 mark (it's currently at just over $102,000) which unlocked a slew of new rewards and stretch goals! That's pretty darn awesome!

A bunch of new, post $100,000 stretch goal rewards have also just been added.

The kickstarter is also close to reaching 1,000 backers, at which point an awesome Midgard campaign setting GM/DM screen becomes available

We've topped $106,000! and it looks like Pathfinder fans are starting to see just how awesome this kickstarter is!

AND we're SOOOOO close to hitting that 1,000 backer goal which unlocks the Midgard GM screen! As in, less than 60 backers!

Aaaaaand it looks like it's official. We will have an Eldritch Lairs for Pathfinder stretch goal! That should be fantastic news for Pathfinder fans! More details to come!!
