Disease Use Rogue Talent

Rules Questions

Disease Use Rogue Talent speaks of applying filth to a weapon. Does these also include applying filth to ammunition, much like you would apply poison to ammunition?

It doesn't specify, but I imagine so. Considering its a DC 12 fort save to resist and takes 1d3 days to set in I wouldn't worry about it being a problem. Heck, in game play the onset time makes it pretty much worthless for a PC to use.

Explain to me what onset means. It might be obvious, but I just want to make sure.

Afflictions

Some afflictions have a variable amount of time before they set in. Creatures that come in contact with an affliction with an onset time must make a saving throw immediately. Success means that the affliction is avoided and no further saving throws must be made. Failure means that the creature has contracted the affliction and must begin making additional saves after the onset period has elapsed. The affliction's effect does not occur until after the onset period has elapsed and then only if further saving throws are failed.

Thank you very much Archaeik and I now see what you were saying Claxon.

Indeed, so it will take 24 to 72 hours for an enemy to have to make saves to avoid penalties to attributes caused by filth fever. Of course, by that time 99% of all enemies will be long dead.
