I like the new Mechagolem Commander. Too bad losing demanding challenge, honorable stand and last stand, but I can live with that.

I'd add helmets to the types of bonding objects allowed. After all, anime mecha pilots have often a bizarre helmet.
I'd also keep the Aquatic form. Some mecha are aquatic, and it would not be a form often used anyway.
All the rest's great. You've improved my original idea by 100 times. I'm envious of your talent. ^^

We can certainly add in helmet, and keep the aquatic form.

I think we can go with the following for the beneift of Standby.

Mechagolem Ascension (Ex): At 6th level, a mechagolem has siphoned enough of the mechagolem commander’s to begin its transformation into a true construct. The mechagolem gains a +2 enhancement bonus to Wisdom, and the mechagolem commander now requires a move action to control or command the mechagolem in combat. The mechagolem can also place itself on standby as a standard action. While on standby, a mechagolem cannot move or take any actions. It remains aware of its surroundings but takes a –4 penalty on Perception checks. It can also heal a number of hit points of damage per day equal to twice the mechagolem commander’s level, at the rate of 1 hit point per minute. A mechagolem can exit standby as a swift action—if it does so to initiate combat, it gains a +4 racial bonus on its Initiative check....

I thik that gives it a benefit of self healing that is meaningful, as the Commander can't heal it. Though, perhaps we could swap out 2 or 3 increments of Challenge for the ability to cast make whole?

Repair Mechagolem (Sp): At 4th level, a mechagoelm commander gains the ability to repair his damaged mechagolem. If the mechagolem commander spends two uses of resolve, he can repair 1d6 points of damage per level (maximum 5d6). This his increases to 1d8 hit points per level at 10th level, and to 1d10 points of damager per level at 16th level. This ability otherwise functions as the make whole spell, but can only affect his mechagolem. This ability replaces challenge 2/day, challenge 4/day, and challenge 6/day.

Thoughts? I think the desire is to keep the mechagolem in play as long as possible. So, is the resolve alternate use already in the MCA (Regenerate Golem), plus the suggested additions to the Standby mode, and swapping out the challenge uses for a healing effect too much healing? Is it too much? Just right?

EDIT
Missed this. I think its a great addition.

NEW FEATS
The following feat is restricted to the Mechagolem Commander multiclass archetype.

Tenacious Servant
A tiny bit of your willpower has passed in your mechagolem, allowing it to keep fighting even when you are no more there to give orders.

Prerequisites: Mechagolem class feature.

Benefit: If you are knocked unconscious, fall asleep, or are killed, your mechagolem keeps on performing the last ongoing routine or obeying your last order for a number of rounds equal to your mechagolem pilot level before it stops functioning. The mechagolem can’t change its behavior during this time, regardless of circumstances. If you are brought back to consciousness before this duration expires, your mechagolem doesn’t stop functioning. If the duration expires before you are brought back to consciousness, your mechagolem becomes inert as normal.

Normal: A mechagolem immediately stops functioning when its mechagolem commander is unconscious, asleep, or killed.

Don't give challenges away, Healing is good as it is for me. It's a construct after all. Maybe it can be further repaired using Craft Construct, like all its kin.

Fair enough!

Anything further on Infused Hematologist or Mechagolem Commander? If not we'll move onto the next two MCAs and the new thread.

Oh, yes, that feat. I thought you cut it. ^^
No, I'm fine with how it is now.

Sounds good.

I think Infused Hematologist is good to go. So let's move on. Both are on the wiki.
