Swashbuckler Parry + Duelist Riposte

Riposte (Ex): Starting at 5th level, a duelist can make an
attack of opportunity against any creature whose attack
she successfully parries, so long as the creature she is
attacking is within reach.

From the way I read this, the Duelist Riposte ability would trigger off the Swashbuckler's Parry. I've searched around the forums and haven't found any mention of how these abilities interact. What do y'all think?

I'm particularly interested in this since I have a character in a campaign, several homerules, that's a Rogue/Swashy (3.5)/Duelist. Since the ACG playtest is out I will be converting over to Pathfinder Swashbuckler to test it out.

EDIT: Also waiting to see how the ruling on Swashbuckler Finesse goes, since we are using Mythic rules and I have Mythic Finesse.

I have always seen it as usable for the crane feat counts as parry, even states that it stacks and counts as the duelist ability. why wouldn't this one do the same?
