Biped synthesist for evil campaign need help!

Advice

I’m going to play in an evil campaign and I rolled some stats (have not decide race yet)
that cannot be changed or swapped for NO reason!
str 7 - dex 8 - con 16 - int 14 - wis 12 - cha 18

I was planning to play a vanilla summoner but with such a low dex and str I think that synthesist will provide me more survivability and versatility!

we gonna start lvl 1 and we have 1 battle cleric,1 antipaladin and 1 ninja!
Because we will be needed to play a lot inside cities with good people I prefer a biped eidolon so I can blend in easier (my DM agreed to ignore the translucent part)!

what I don’t know is how to build him!I like the idea of a vampire eidolonl. I don’t want in any case to become a monster with 20 arms and 40 heads! I need to look as normal as it gets! But i dont think i can use weapons effectively because I don’t have enough str for power attack feat! so I could really use some ideas! I don’t care to be super optimized, but effective!
Also I was thinking to dip one lvl oracle (Lore) so I can use my charisma to AC and Reflex.

thanks in advance...

-You can qualify for Power Attack with your strength and BAB from your fused form.
-Go Biped, take the Bite, Improved Natural Armour and Skilled (Your choice) evolutions.
-Pick up a big two-handed weapon; a Simple two-handed weapon if you can't get proficiency.
-Don't dip oracle, it'll give you a level of sucking and the Synthesist is fine on its own.

But, first- the synthesist is a very difficult class to play, not least because its mechanics interact weirdly with other pathfinder rules and one needs to know a bunch of erratas and developer judgements. If you don't consider yourself a high-skill player, I wouldn't touch it. Be a Master Summoner instead; your stats are near-perfect for it.

Someone suggesting master summoner because it's supposedly simple... Wow.

Don't listen to him: master summoners are complex in that you need stats for everything you summon.

Is there anything g in particular you want from synth (or summoner in general), or did u just do it because that's how stats worked out? You could make a fine sorcerer too and not be worse at what your class is supposed to do because you want to look normal.

Necromancers are always fun. You could do that and summon stuff for that minion feel.

Now, if synth is what you want, I'd make sure you wear lots of bulky clothes to cover up natural armor and stuff like that. You want to spend evol points in concealable things. Pick up stat boosts in CON and STR. You'll need good scores in those since you presumably won't be taking the large or huge evolutions.

That's all I got for now.

Thanks guys for the help!

Firstly I can’t get it! how can I qualify for the power attack? This cant be correct? I don’t have str and bab and I suppose the bonus I get form the eidolon happens after I select the feat! Or else it means that I can play my character before I take the feat=before I create my character! I can see though that it can be legal at 3rd lvl...
[By the way Master Tinker Gnomes are treated as proficient with any weapon they have personally crafted! Hello Falcata, Fauchard, Net, repeating heavy Crossbow, all the other crazy weapons! How I wish to have a full BAB...]

I don’t think I will have problems with the rules because I will not try to stretch it too much! I’ wont try to do something really extreme!

Now, master summoner: although I love the concept I am sure that will make battles take forever even if I am really well prepared! Also after the riding dog exclusion it will take some lvls to be really effective I think!

Sorcerer: this is an Excellent Idea but already abandoned because I’ve played many times before (enchanter/illusionist is my favorite) and I would like to experience something radically different!

Now for the large evolution I’ve always wondered: a tall human is 6 ft. 10 in, large creatures are 8' to 16 ft. sure, 8 feet is really tall but not a monster! I will be like a a really big medium creature or a short large like dwarves are really short for medium and quite big for small!

large evolution is just too good...

Feat qualification: You can keep your synthesist suit up for 24 hours by skipping a night's sleep. This means you can qualify for stats you only have when fused. This also means you can only use those stats when fused. For example, unfused, a level 1 Synth will have 0 BAB and maybe 9 strength. Fused, he'll have 1 BAB and 18 strength. He qualifies for Power Attack when fused and thus can take it, but when unfused he can't use the feat.

Master Summoner: It is true, it can take awhile. One suggestion I quite liked was to, if you have a tonne of summoned creatures on the field, give your fellow party-members a monster each to control. Surely some would love to have their own critter. As for the riding dog exclusion- if you're looking at level 1, Eagles are pretty awesome. Three natural attacks + higher ground bonus, and much movement speed.

Large evolution: I've always run the height increase as per the large evolution: you double your height. Thus, yes, doorways and tight passageways will NOT be your friend. It's the con of a really really good evolution. But it's also a very high-levelled evolution, so surely it won't be a problem for you for awhile.

The eidolon size issue can be fixed if you play a size small race like Gnome or Halfling that way your medium eidolon can be dwarf sized and about 8' tall when large.

What is the fun of the synthesist if you do not become eventually a huge character? You willnot exactly blend in the crowd, but you can still be relatively discrete by wearing a large rob with a hood. You will be some kind of exotic being, a huge figure that no one knows who or what are you, you will inspire fear and awe.
