I've finally received my Beginner Box in which I have been waiting so long to receive, I've noticed in the books that the monsters like the Ogre are so supposed to take up a 2x2 square space. However, the only included stand sizes are the regular 1x1 square sized ones. Did everyone have these as well and is intentional?

All the stands in the Beginner Box are the same size. The large characters still take-up 2x2 squares, their stand just doesn't fill the whole space.
The back of the box shows a large black dragon with a regular-sized character stand.
Ok cool, I'm guessing I put the pawn in the middle of four squares to fill up the 2x2 area then? Thanks for the reply by the way! I thought this a bit of a silly question. :)

At the time we released the Beginner Box, generic 1"-diameter stands were the only thing available to us. Since then, we launched a pretty successful line of Pathfinder Pawns, and as a result, we were able to include a couple of 2" stands (just like the ones linked above) in the new second printing of the Beginner Box. Also, the stands in the reprint all have the Pathfinder logo on the bottom.

My gamestore finally got what was supposed to be the 2nd print of the beginner box. After reading this I went and looked at my stands. There are no 2" stands included and none of them have the Pathfinder logo on them. Also, all of the pregens still have all the errors of the 1st print. I held out for months just so I could buy the reprint. Guess that didn't work out so well.

The 2nd printing can be easily identified by the "New Book Inside!" stripe across the upper-right corner. See image.

Ya,neither my box nor the recent shipments my gamestore recieved have the "New Book Inside!" stripe on the boxes. I know they weren't able to order anymore Beginner Boxes until the 2nd print was released so i'm not sure what happened. Is it possible Paizo shipped out whatever 1st print editions they had left in stock with the 2nd print editions release?

I'm pretty sure that our last shipment of 1st printings went to our book trade distributor, not our hobby trade distributors, and once we started sending 2nd printings to hobby distributors, we *only* sent 2nd printings to them.
(Our book trade distributor sells to bookstores like Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and independent book stores; our hobby trade distributors sell to game stores, comics store, and the like.)
It's possible that some hobby distributors were still holding copies of the 1st printing, though...
