So I want to add more people for the PCs to interact with at the Funeral so

Adivion Adrissant will be there as former star student and friend of the Professor and helpful to Kendra and the PCs (he is not happy Vrood killed the professor)

Judge Embreth Daramid will only be there for the day so wont be around for the reading of the will but the PCs will at least get to meet her.

Madame Ivanja the professor knew her from his travels and she is here to pay her respects for the professor she will also leave within a day or two she is accompanied by her Qadiran guards. The PCs can set up some relations with her.

Horace Croon friend and colleague of the professors come to town on a crazy wagon invention that is not pulled by any horses.

Count Lucinean Galdana The noble was a great friend of the professors and very sad to see him pass and wants to pay his respect

Abraun Chalest Fellow member of the order and friend of the professors coming to pay his respects

So I was going to use these to foreshadow future adventures is there anyone else I should add or take anyone out or add more details

I had Adivion Adrissant stop by after the funeral (he was unable to be reached in time to respond and attend), and I didn't think of putting most of the others until later. Since the Player kind of hand waived most of the greetings at that point, I can retroactively add Madame Ivanja later. (Adding too many will seem awkward later.)

Adivion, though a rival of the professors, is deeply saddened by his death, as they were ultimately friends as well. Though Kendra doesn't like him at first, he honestly offers the use of his place in Caliphas and hopes that she will take a "safer path" than her father. He informs them that his next stop will be at the lodge (a simulacra of his, anyway) to check out Lucinean Galdana.

Although not at the funeral, I'm having Count Lucinean Galdana be at the Lodge, later. He disdains the place, in general, having finally accepted an invitation (and suggestion) of his fellow nobles just because he hadn't; he is about to leave when the party comes.

Since my party really bonded with Kendra (one of the Player's characters thinks of her as a true "sister"), but nothing developed romantically, and they've successfully convinced her to adventure with them, I'm already starting to have her be "iffy" on the adventuring thing, with lingering fears of death, while simultaneously being excited and interested by the idea.

In any event, she's going to go with them when they move on to Lepidstadt, where she's thinking of moving, and, later, when they go to the lodge (as she'll be privy to the... information... that would encourage the PCs not to stay there), still unsure of her ultimate fate.

When they then arrive at the Lodge... she and Galdana will meet... and "click" really powerfully. Since he's going to Caliphas, either after Broken Moon (on the way to Illmarsh) or at some point during, Kendra will choose to go to/stay at Caliphas, taking Adivion's offer (as it just wouldn't be "proper" to take the Count Galdana's).

Thus, later in the game... well, you can figure it from there.

So no one has any other ideas or wants to add there two cents?

A lot of people are already past this, unfortunately, so there's not a consistent amount of feedback.

However, in an extremely interesting development, one of the Player's characters has actually begun a romantic relationship (though she knows he's leaving town in a few days).

In any event, I should probably put more details elsewhere...

EDIT: partially even more interesting because she's had success in convincing him to actually assist them in exploring Harrowstone. Add that to the fact that I've been playing him as a combination of Sherlock from BBC (primary inspiration) with the refinement and polite nature of the older BBC Sherlock/Hercules Poirot/a gentleman of class (secondary, predominantly a facade, however), and Robert Downy Junior (tertiary, especially the suave/romantic aspect of his characters).

I love this and am stealing some of the ideas.

What ideas are you stealing and or changing

Grand Lodge

Not using Croon as not running with Wake. Using Carrion Hill instead so running with Commander Garus , incognito, leaving after saying goodbye to Kendra.

. Not using Abraun.

Mdme ivanja allows for a Harrow Reading to allow for the theme of Harrow to enter. She leave next morning.

The judge will also leave after goodbyes and not present for the will.

Advinion will visit before the players meet Kendra - he'll stand at the back of the procession and the service without doing much. He will leave without goodbyes immedietely after. He will leave a letter inviting Kendra to take another line of work and offering any help... PCs will find it in the library.

Im going to run both Wake and Carrion Hill as I think they are both great adventures
Abraun is just there to foreshadow the order more
