Maximizing the Halfling Opportunist

Advice

After reading this class I can't help but think that it has some of the best flavor for a prestige class. With that in mind I'm really trying to come up with a way to maximize the potential of this character, and the levels from previous classes that would be used.

Right off the bat I'm thinking 1-2 levels of rogue would be good, and then switching to the lore warden for the rest.

Being small means that my strength will never be top notch, so twf to maximize sneak attack seems like a no brainer. that said, I find going a dex build to be too feat intensive for to little gain. In a 25 point buy I'm thinking that I would have:
15 str (17 prior to racial)
16 dex (14 prior to racial)
16 con
10 wis
9 int
10 charisma (8 prior to racial)

From there all further bonuses would go into strength.

I'm at a loss on what to do for feats though. I'm thinking I'm better off avoiding weapon finesse, but what exactly to get I'm unsure.

I know that I'll need to boost my cmb as much as possible to get the most out of the halfling opportunist.

ideas? help? or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

(on a side note I've considered goinging dawnflower dervish bard 1/ lorewarden 4 to focus solely on dex, but the loss of attacks seems too painful).

Trying to get the strength to work is an uphill battle with a Halfling. I'd recommend either being a CMB specialist or using Agile weapons. Earliest entry is at level 6 anyway and the prestige class synergises well with CMB. Take an Order of Dragon halfling cavalier as a cohort using leadership if possible; aid another monkey for you for more synergy. Utilising tactics and said cohort to maximise AOO's for extra sneak attacks at full BAB also seems sensible.

I would clearly go to DEX, agile maneuvers and weapon finesse with this build, but not two weapon fighting.
It´s better to use a lot of maneuvers.
Rogue or ninja are pretty obvious, but bards could be good too.
Or even an alchemist. Also i recommend using a whip.

If we're talking. Non-twf. Dex builds wouldn't dervish bard be the best wsy to go? Dervish dance for free frees up 2 feats and +2 attack/damage is nothing to sneeze at ( at least 1 level dip. )

From there lore warden 4 (+2 cmb, weapon training) extra feats and then move into rogue after the halfling opportunist?

A Dervish Dance build doesn't seem great for this PrC. I mean, yeah, its good for dex, but TWF or 2hF is always superior (unless you are something like a magus, which you aren't). I'd recommend rogue to enter with perhaps a dip in fighter for proficiency with the Elven Curve Blade. Have a 13 strength for Power Attack, Furious Focus, and be a Dex-base 2hF build. If you get at least 4 levels of rogue, I'd recommend Scout archetype, as it gives a new option or 2 for sneak attack.

Or you could be a Feral Mutagen Vivisectionist for 3 attacks at no attack penalty, fullest BAB, extracts of shield, and free wands of invisibility.
