Welcome!

FYI, we also have a monthly event at Board Knight in Warrensburg. This month's event is pending schedule approval with the store, but is planned for Saturday, 23 November

I may actually be able to make it to this. It's currently looking like I'll be in the Midwest until the end of January.

I going to try to make it this year, had to cancel at the last moment last year.

Excellent! See ya there! :-)

Initial schedule is being reviewed by the coordination team. With 104 tables on the schedule we will need A LOT of GMs and players to fill the seats...

Done.

Sczarni 5/5

I'm going to try and show up for this hootenanny.

5/5

Most... interesting. Muahaha!

4/5 ****

This cast is looking more and more exciting. My wife wanted to leave for California that weekend but I think I've convinced her to stay for one more more so I can go to this.

The Exchange 4/5

I call Eyes of the Ten :D (GM)
I will also GM a slot of Siege of the Diamond City (assuming they don't overlap)

After playing Eye's this weekend with Kyle, I promise I will not let that training session go to waste :D

Already started ordering... materials... to make it a fun and exciting experience.

4/5 ****

GMing Eyes of the Ten at a convention is too much for me. The one time I did it was fantastic, but utterly exhausting. I think I I'll stick to collecting my delicious tears in Bonekeep and Waking Rune, Eyes of the Ten is all yours :)

(not that I have anything to say about how anything at the con is run)

It was equally exhausting to play, though also exhilarating.

I ordered some things to enhance the experience (laminated maps, a wax stamp with the grand lodge seal on it.) I'm considering ordering a few scrolls for some of the handouts, but I'm on the fence a bit for those. Working on finding mini's, might end up painting/basing some reaper figs.

All of your eager excitement is awesome. You are elevating my expectations and I will do my best to provide three days of epic gaming!

If I can, I'll run The Confirmation most of the weekend. :)

Bah, I was gonna ask if you wanted to run the Everwar series instead. :P

I've run Echoes of the Everwar a few times -- I've composed a couple of songs, turning "Terror in Thistledown" into a musical -- and would be happy to do so at Winter War.

Let's not get to ahead of ourselves. The schedule is not finalized and we will not be signing up/registering here. I'm not saying that Everwar won't be on the schedule, I just don't want someone to think that since they posted here they are assured of a seat at the table.

Please give me a few more days to a week to finalize the schedule, get everything submitted and approved by the convention, and a warhorn site set up to accommodate public viewing and mustering of the GMs.

Thanks for your patience!

I'd likely be playing this with my goblin... hmm.

Yes...yes, I do. I don't know as I can, but definitely trying to finagle the time/finances for this one again. It ranks right up there with WYC as an enjoyable, comfortable local convention experience in my mind.

Grand Lodge 4/5 5/55/5 ***

Okay, so here is the schedule of PFS events. It will take a few days to get all of this info entered into Warhorn and also on the convention website so players can register. With a mix of new and old scenarios, modules, and special/exclusives, we should have plenty of play opportunities for anyone to get their Pathfinder fix. See ya there!

That looks exciting, can you tell us a little more about Goblin Attack!?

5/5

Anyone interested in doing a Friday morning slot zero?

The Exchange 4/5

I'd be up for it.

5/5

What to play. What to GM? Hmm...

Grand Lodge 4/5 5/55/5 ***

For those who attended GenCon, Goblin Attack! will essentially be the same event. It is similar to the delves that 'other' game ran for a few years at GenCon. Basically it is a set of five individual encounters designed to run in 60 minutes or less (more often it was less). Goblins have increased their attacks on the people of Sandpoint and local law enforcement is over-whelmed. Players are given a mission to fend off an attack or investigate a goblin sighting, etc. You select from the standard list of 1st level pregens. It is a perfect opportunity to introduce PFS to new players as well as a chance for experienced players to get their game on. You can just try out one encounter or you can play all five. At GenCon, anyone who completed all five earned a cool, minor chronicle boon that could be applied to any registered PFS character.

One twist is that I plan to select one of the five encounters and run it reverse-dungeon style. The players would select the goblins and the GM would run the pregen PC's. Hopefully, we can offer a special reward for those who successfully defeat those pesky Pathfinder agents :-)

As I understand it, Paizo (Mike/John) is working on developing the material into a downloadable package so organizers who did not attend GenCon have access to the content. As a VO and one of the GMs for the event at GenCon I had the good fortune to gain the materials as they were present for the con. It was a lot of fun and players really seemed to enjoy themselves.

4/5 ****

Thanks Bob. I'd be up for a Friday morning slot. I'd be happy to GM considering the number of things I can play is so low.

5/5

Hmm.. Any 5-9 or 7-11's you really like running Rob? I'd probably be up for playing Garble :-)

4/5 ****

Waking Rune has been my favorite recently but I don't recommend playing it at 7-8 unless you want to die. Looking at my prep binder I'd be happy to run 5-9 golem works or 7-11 portal of the sacred rune. I'd be happy to prep just about anything though.

The Exchange 4/5

I haven't played either golem works or sacred rune, I'd prefer sacred rune though, as I haven't even GMd that one.

Hmm, I'd be up for playing Friday morning, but I've played Golemworks and already died in Rune, LOL.

Wow, that's some schedule for Winter War. WW PFS sure has grown. I missed it last year, but I'm making plans to return for this one.

What are Library of the Lion and Where Mammoths Dare Not Tread about and which faction do they address?

I'd love to run The Waking Rune; I didn't get to at Archon, maybe this time? It's such a deliciously wicked season finale.
And, I promise not to kill your monk this time, Bob. ;-)

I plan to take that Friday off and I think Kristen is going to take the whole weekend off, so we might be able to do a Friday morning slot. I'd have to check with her first to see what time she is wanting to leave to get there, though. :/

Also, we have about 4-5 local players who at least semi-interested in coming up.
