Feral Combat Training and Unarmed Strike Damage: Does this allow me to use my monk unarmed damage with the selected natural attack?

Yes. The feat says you can apply "effects that augment an unarmed strike," and the monk's increased unarmed damage counts as such."

From one of the Design Team Members.

My question:

1. Does this mean that I can not only use Feral Combat Training to Swap an IUS for Natural attack during a Flurry, but that the Natural attack would scale on par with my IUS damage? - Or would it combine the two damages? Or would it make room for an even more awkwardly scaled combination of the two damages after size/die damage changes?

2. Can I flurry, using FCT, with the same claw attack to multiple targets?

That's an unexpected faq. It does raise the question for this and other more corner cases on how it's augmenting the unarmed strike damage. Is it a straight replace, and if so does it scale normally for sizes past small or large? Or is it an increase, and if so how does it increase a base other than 1d3, for natural attacks or for other abilities like a brawler barbarian?

For ease of use, and lack of necessary formula or tables, I'd assume it's a replacement, but in that case, does it decrease the damage dice with FCT and a bigger natural attack, or do you take whichever is better?

Barbarian/martialartist biters and druid/monk shapers just got buffed, reiterating that the best monks are the multiclassed monks.

I'd tend to agree with this assesment and just go with whichever is better. The monk damage table has always been a mess tho, so I really couldn't think it would be anything else.

And I can't argue with you there. Well, cept for Zen Archers, they sorta rock face.

1) They said "my monk unarmed damage" so you would replace whatever the damage dice of your Claw with your IUS damage.

2) Yes, stated as such in previous responses (either in a previous FAQ or forum post by someone at Paizo)
