The mausoleum guards have been dismissed in light of the recent strangeness, and the local LORD has assured you that the mausoleum's wrought iron gates will remain unlocked. Only one entrance is evident - a short stone structure.

GNASHER's FERAL GOBLIN senses detect a bad smell. GNASHER cannot identify the smell.


Gnasher throws down the weapons he's unproficient in, aka the axes, and charges into the entrance.

GNASHER leads the PARTY into the mausoleum vestibule. Inside the simple stone chamber, a staircase leads downward into the CENOTAPH FOYER, an ovoid room lined with dozens of shallow alcoves, each containing a large clay urn about as tall as GNASHER himself.

This area consists of one ZONE: the CENOTAPH FOYER.
This area contains two FEATURES: the ARCHWAY and the STAIRCASE.

There are two exits from this room: a STAIRCASE leading UP to the surface, and an ARCHWAY leading elsewhere. As your PARTY reaches the base of the STAIRCASE, two humanoid creatures shuffle through the doorway. Each appears corpse-like, but coated from head to toe in some kind of transparent green gel.

GNASHER has no LORE - he cannot identify the creatures!
VALARIOT is caught by SURPRISE! She cannot yet act.
NORBYN is caught by SURPRISE! He cannot yet act.

An AMOEBIC OOZE loses MASS whenever it loses HEALTH, reducing its overall strength.

A VAMPIRE ROGUE walks into the tomb, intending to rob it of its riches. He sees the ADVENTURERS GUILD engaged with some aomebic undead, and hides in the shadows.

Since this isn't a "Pathfinder game" per se, could I be a 3.5 Tome of Magic Binder? How about a Ghul Lord from 2nd-Edition's Complete Sha'ir's Handbook?

NORBYN's LORE identifies the UNIDENTIFIED GIANT OOZE as a GIANT AMOEBIC PROTOPLASM. Unlike an AMOEBIC OOZE, a GIANT AMOEBIC PROTOPLASM is capable of manifesting pseudopods to defend itself without a host (though if its MASS is reduced, it may seek one).

The initial spiel made it sound like new people could just jump in. That, and I thought I already saw a 4th person jump in independently of the initial "ADVENTURER'S GUILD" roster.


Anyone can make a suggestion for what any of the three "PC's" do on their next turn. This provides variety in options.
