Haven't seen it yet, but I've got a free movie ticket that needs to be used by mid December, so this is pretty high on my list of things to see. Just have to wait for it to open at Dendy here.

I saw it this weekend. It's pretty close to the original in plot, so if you have seen that movie, than there isn't much new here.

Having not seen the original Carrie in like 3 or 4 years, I am having trouble making comparisons, but I think the acting and definitely the effects are much superior in the new movie, so there is that. I did enjoy the movie and consider it money well spent.

I just watched it for a second time last night after work. I heard they filmed multiple endings, I hope the DVD/Blue Ray has those multiple endings.

Saw it last Friday for my wife's birthday. We both enjoyed it. She was afraid it was going to be too gory for her, but said it wasn't bad although a couple of times she had to tell herself "it's red pudding, right?"

I saw it and can only say "meh".

It didn't bring anything new to the table. The original was quite good and this one wasn't any better or really any different. I'm not against reboots or remakes. I adored Rob Zombie's take on Halloween for instance.

I really enjoy the work of Julianne Moore and Chloe Grace Moretz, they are both excellent actresses and both of them made some attempt to make the roles their own. But the story and the direction felt like a retread. And that was disappointing.
