Superstition, Urban Barbarian, and casting during a rage

Rules Questions

I am interested in playing a Lore Oracle/Barbarian of Nethys, and consider the disruptive chain of rage powers to be thematically appropriate. Superstition is a prerequisite to this rage power chain. Without superstition, I can cast spells during rage (See the Urban Barbarian archetype description). With superstition, I obviously have to save against my allies' spells, but must I save against my own spells?

The urban barbarian archetype does not allow you to rage and still cast spells.

You count as your own ally, so yes you must Save vs. your own spells when Raging.

But you can't normally cast spells when Raging, so you shouldn't really have a problem with that.
Urban Barbarian Controlled Rage doesn't get rid of the no-spellcasting restriction.

Quote:
Controlled Rage (Ex): When an urban barbarian rages, instead of making a normal rage she may apply a +4 morale bonus to her Strength, Dexterity, or Constitution. This bonus increases to +6 when she gains greater rage and +8 when she gains mighty rage. She may apply the full bonus to one ability score or may split the bonus between several scores in increments of +2. When using a controlled rage, an urban barbarian gains no bonus on Will saves, takes no penalties to AC, and can still use Intelligence-, Dexterity-, and Charisma-based skills. This ability otherwise follows the normal rules for rage.

Nothing about spellcasting working, and it "otherwise follows the normal rules for rage".

I don't know why alot of people seem to think it allows spellcasting for some reason (I did myself at first), the text says nothing of the sort.

You can use Moment of Clarity to Cast while Raging but then you also lose all the effects of Rage so no forced-Save from Superstitious.
If you went Rage Prophet PrC they have a few ways to cast spells such as Cure and Self-Targetting spells
while Raging without using Moment of Clarity, in which case you would need to Save vs. your own spells cast while Raging.

vs
Rage (Ex): A barbarian can call upon inner reserves of strength and ferocity, granting her additional combat prowess. Starting at 1st level, a barbarian can rage for a number of rounds per day equal to 4 + her Constitution modifier. At each level after 1st, she can rage for 2 additional rounds. Temporary increases to Constitution, such as those gained from rage and spells like bear's endurance, do not increase the total number of rounds that a barbarian can rage per day. A barbarian can enter rage as a free action. The total number of rounds of rage per day is renewed after resting for 8 hours, although these hours do not need to be consecutive. While in rage, a barbarian gains a +4 morale bonus to her Strength and Constitution, as well as a +2 morale bonus on Will saves. In addition, she takes a –2 penalty to Armor Class. The increase to Constitution grants the barbarian 2 hit points per Hit Dice, but these disappear when the rage ends and are not lost first like temporary hit points. While in rage, a barbarian cannot use any Charisma-, Dexterity-, or Intelligence-based skills (except Acrobatics, Fly, Intimidate, and Ride) or any ability that requires patience or concentration.A barbarian can end her rage as a free action and is fatigued after rage for a number of rounds equal to 2 times the number of rounds spent in the rage. A barbarian cannot enter a new rage while fatigued or exhausted but can otherwise enter rage multiple times during a single encounter or combat. If a barbarian falls unconscious, her rage immediately ends, placing her in peril of death.

nether one says anything about spells

Rage Prophet is the only way to cast spells in Rage, without Moment of Clarity.

No Barbarian archetype changes this.

Nothing says a barbarian can't normally cast while raging you know.

And if you try to bring your spellcasting-in-Rage Barbarian into a PFS game (or any home game I've ever played), based on your misapprehension that not specifically mentioning spellcasting means it's allowed, you will be in for a rude awakening. The "cannot use... any ability that requires patience or concentration" rule is universally understood to preclude spellcasting, because spellcasting explicitly invokes a game mechanic called "Concentration", amazingly enough. Spellcasting, or equivalent actions (e.g. SLAs) which invoke Concentration, are in fact about the only 100% clear-cut activity which that sentence bans.

Urban Barbarian doesn't change that restriction of Rage... Thus, what everybody else has said.

all i did was post the RAW with link so don't jump on me.

It absolutely does.

Whoops! I misinterpreted the text. Thank you for clearing that up. This character was not going to see any play anytime soon (our new party already has at least 2 players interested in melee types, and I'm not in PFS). I still like the magic/antimagic theme of a Lore Oracle/Barbarian, and this makes that look less overpowered.
