I doubt everyone here will agree with the thrust of this, but I wrote a post about games, puzzles, and the federal government shutdown. I would be interested in hearing people's opinions about it.

I have my own response to Mr Bohener's "This isn't some damn game!" statement, and it's something along the lines that if perhaps they went and played some games instead of doing what they do for a living, firstly everyone might be somewhat better off, and secondly there's a chance they may even learn some things in the process.
I'd recommend Kingmaker, personally.
